Yeah, but a camera on the corner can be reviewed by others to make sure the appropriate action was taken.
Question - will it help eliminate the human/adrenaline issue somewhat if the cops KNOW they're being recorded?
So tell me - who DOES decide what's wrong - voters?
Don't you think...
Those were special built? I remember seeing shows on the old (30's) Auto Union cars were supercharged and like 1000 Hp on about 2000 lbs. WILD !!
I think the guys at Talledega and Daytona were around 220 avg at one point. That started the plate races... Dudes were scared...
But I liked the non plate races better.
The best guy could pull away if he had the power. Then his tires start going away and now the dilemma is - do I pit now or hope for a wreck and change tires then.
Or if the guy didn't have the power, but handled better, he could slingshot by, and...
Yeah, I've watched a couple on the tube, and the announcers always say it's damn near impossible to pass due to aero effects behind each car.
So it ends up the winner is the best qualifier, as long as he doesn't break.
Is that an accurate description ?
And Nascar - what could be done...
Telechart can do it, but you'd have to scroll back day by day.
Alternatively, you can filter by the best gainers for the past year, 6 mos, quarter, month, week, or day.
Not free though, about 30$/month for the info.
Regarding the abuse of power, yeah, it could have been a weaker case.
But regarding the perjury case, surely you're not suggesting that the Supreme Court got it wrong.
Hillary proves nothing other than that there isn't much evidence. I assume you're referring about the investment thing...
As a matter of semantics, you are correct. No charges were brought against him. But was it because there was no case against him? Or because after seeing the partisan voting on the perjury charges, they said what's the use?
What's your answer to the rest ?
Those lesser charges, were abuse of power - to refresh your memory.
But what of those 'other' charges - lying, perjury, suborning perjury, and obstruction of justice.
For this, he was disbarred. By the Supreme Court.
But since the Reps didn't have the 2/3 majority, it was a waste of...
Ok, let's try a different tack...
Republicans were ina majority in the Senate when it went to vote.
They didn't vote him out.
If they 'wanted' him out, why didn't they vote him out at that time ?
It went to the Senate for a vote.
The Republicans were in majority.
They didn't vote along partisan lines and he stayed in office.
The Supreme Court (a liberal court btw) disbarred him because he was guilty of lying to the courts.
What part of that confuses you?
This is what always kills me. Liberals are the staunchest feminists around. And yet there's hardly a peep out of them on this issue.
Guys, at least think of you mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters under Islam. Do you think they would like it ???
Dolt-
He was impeached, just not voted out of office by Republicans who recognized that the economy was too good to upset the apple cart..
Ya see, no partisan politics. Impeached for the lying to the courts, but the rest was dropped for the good of the country...
LOL
Actually, I always have identified with the Libertarians more than the Reps. About the only place I disagreed with the policies was the drug issue.
Other than that, works for me...
