Thanks. I considered that, but it wasn't the culprit. It looks as if my problem has been fixed. I just have to fire of a few log files from scans to www.windowsbbs.com to double check that everything is ok.

I've got the same thing right now. It's only affecting the Google Search plugin right now in Firefox so I got rid of that, but I know there is something on my PC and it's annoying the shit out of me. I'm currently talking to these guys...

You may be able to do this with TWS. If you configure a Buy order with a hotkey, you can add a "Target Scale Order" and a "Stop Loss" order. (thereby creating a bracket with multiple targets) I haven't tried this yet, but you may be able to play around with it to get what you're looking for.

The TWS demo is different than the Simulated Trader. You are right, the demo is a week behind. I believe you would be required to open an account with IB in order to use the Simulated Trader.

IB TWS simulated trading mode works in real time. I have run the simulator and the full TWS at the same time and the prices are exactly the same. The simulated fills seem fairly accurate also. It doesn't just fill a limit order as soon as the price is hit.

Is this based on the Dow? Since there are days where the Dow is negative and other broader indexes are positive (possible outcome for today), how do we class such days?
