your oscillators are too noisy for the time frame you are using. all oscillators wiggle and give lots of false signals on some time frame. If you don't like the one you are using then switch, or else switch your time frame.

Perhaps you are referring to position trading, since position traders often take a core position and add and subtract to it occassionally. The gold stocks are looking good for that type of trading. I am a swing trader and a position trader myself.
