Thanks, cnms2. Like yourself I am at the 5m/ES-2m/YM stage and think that the 1m/ES is an excellent ancillary tool. It does not supplant any of the dogma which is edifying. Thanks also for pointing out where you find it to be of utility. lj

Yah. Price failed to close below the low of the 2:20 bar. I missed that and as well I see your point re the decrease in black volume in an up channel. It is indeed a lateral movement, not an FTT or a [1-3/2] up channel with reduced slope. lj

Is the "RTL/LTL" labelling on the chart correct? I don't think so and it would seem then that the bar in question could be an FTT if the other channel is correct. lj

I see and agree with what you have drawn for the ES 1 min fractal but I do not see that bar 5 is a FTT for the ES 5 min fractal. The way I would describe this field is that at the completion of bar 7, bar 4 is a point 2 but this is only because bar 7 has been set as the point 3. Your bars...

RT, Moving across the chart from the left, Bars 6 and 7 appear to form a FTP. If these are being used as a pair of taping bars, shouldn't the right side of the tape be formed by the lows of the bars and the left side by bar 1? lj
