Need Historical Closing Prices on the DOW going back to 1900

Try Yahoo again, I think I got them from there and they go back to the 20s. If you can't find them, drop me a message and I'll send them to you. I'd post them, but I don't have them with me now.

    Young Singers Spread Racist Hate

Here's your apology or excuse towards racism, regarding IceT's lyrics. You can say you condemn racism across the board, yet here youve made an excuse for racist lyrics. Imagine if IceT was white.

    Young Singers Spread Racist Hate

Well, I guess we all missed your posts on them. Of course it isn't politically correct and doesn't fit your sorry, socialist/communist world view to speak out about minority racists. SO its only natural that you would post such a story, simply parroting the rest of the media.

    Young Singers Spread Racist Hate

I'd put their shit right up there with any other hip hop or rap album. But of course the little girls are white which makes them an easy target, which is the ONLY reason Zz posted this.

    Free Historical Futures Data ?

The turtle trader site has many of the commodities EOD but the problem is that you need to assemble them since each commodity has a different file for each year, ie. Jan 1999 Soybeans, Jan 1998 Soy, Jan 1997, etc. Another problem is that they only go from their inception to Oct. 2002.

    Soybeans Trading

The CBOT site has nice market commentary, you probably know this. I don't read it though since it poisons my trading mind. The next typical annual move is the rise of the Jan Soybeans from Nov 1 to Nov 17th or so. Best of luck

    Historical NQ and Fair Value!

I think there is a site tradingnaked.com or something like that for NQ quotes. You would probably have to figure out the fair value with historical interest rates and cash prices, etc.

    Short Silver

Yeah, Silver has had a lousy two days, and closed under 7 today (Sept). But recently everytime I've seen such a drop to this level its always met with buying to keep it over 7.

    Who will replace Rumsfeld ?

Oh good grief! Would the US even need to invade? Chavez has to deal with a fifth, a sixth, and a seventh column (or about 1/2 of the population) who hate his guts. I'd wait for the next election, if he survives that long.

    Soybeans

Friday was quite a reversal (from the open down to the low back up to the close). Beans will go higher the next few days, but whether or not they break 7, is anyones guess, though Im inclined to say not.

Ice shelf collapse was biggest for 10,000 years

Ok, Z10, I actually think you are right on that. Bush has been a major disappointment to even a neocon regressive like me:D

Ice shelf collapse was biggest for 10,000 years

Great logic Z10, its all the "neocon regressives" fault, or specifically did you mean George Bush's fault? Funny how you mention blah blah blah last 10years but of course Clinton gets a COMPLETE pass. But post whatever makes you feel good Z10, whatever makes you feel good.

limiting loss on a losing futures position with inter-month spread

The more I think about it I'd definately buy either an in the money or near the money put. At least with this you will have a chance or recooping your loss if the market moves up.

limiting loss on a losing futures position with inter-month spread

Yes, to open a spread position in a further out month you will limit your loss to the difference in the spread. Of course the difference will fluctuate very slightly as one contract is likely more liquid that the other. But you will still be stuck with the loss, as one contract will gain, the...
