Best live trading room on the net?

So Blaze trader, they also set targets ahead of time, and you can follow each and every trade? It doesn't take much playing around to turn losing trades into ingenious trades.

Hmmm..... I've never been charged more than 3 dollars for CME data from IB.

Best live trading room on the net?

Unless they give every trade live, before the fact, with an exact stop and entry. Then you can just simply watch and see for yourself. This is why they obfuscate their trades.

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

There's no reason that you need more than a few thousand to get your feet wet with ETFs. You have a limited number of trades per week, but patience is a great virtue to learn. Putting 500 into a futures account is simply suicide, and nothing will be learned from that.

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

There are better ways to give real trading a shot than trading an ES contract with 500 dollars in your account. You could just trade some shares of an index ETF.

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

High leverage of futures means needed roughly 5000 in your account for each contract traded. That is high enough. Being required to have only 500 for each contract is far too much leverage.

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

Yes. Look at MF Global, which was a much larger firm than AMP. You could simply lose all your money, simply because AMP went bankrupt. No insurance what so ever. Why take the extra risk? The answer is simple. Because you only have 500 bucks and no one else will take your account.

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

What concern did IB have over the huge Swiss Franc drop? You can use any software you like with IB. All accounts at IB are insured in multiple ways. What insurance coverage do the futures brokers have?

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

I"m not calling them shady or legit. What I am saying, is that you're money is not protected. It is possible that they can go belly up, and if they do, you can lose all your funds. I would personally go with a much larger real brokerage, like IB for example. There are a lot of choices out...

How safe are my funds with a (US) futures broker?

AMP is just like the other futures brokers. You have no protection on your money. Why wouldn't you just use a real broker like IB? If you can't come up with 10K to open an account then you should not be trading futures.

What do you think method of taking 2 ticks per trade

That's right. I am highly suspicous of someone who can almost always win with a 2 tick target and a 4 tick stop. Every win would be around 22 and every loss would be around 53 with comissions. That means he would have to truely rarely lose.

Please tell me the term for......

And if it is the same broker, same contract, same account then you cannot trade both sides of it. However, for the curious, there is a way to do it, as I said above

Please tell me the term for......

Yeah. No broker will allow you to be long and short at the same time. I know that for sure. But my point is that it is not illegal to do that with two different brokers, and you can go the next contract out with the same broker. I've been told this by multiple brokers. But to be on the safe...
