I stopped using MetaStock RT, most times CPU would be at 100%. Switched to NeoTicker, CPU usage for same charts dropped to 15%. And has incredible scripting/program flexibility.
I used to use it. I'm a scalper, and it's better for swing or position trading. The astrology features are interesting, especially liked the Bradley Siderograph. I switched to NeoTicker. Most flexible charting program I've found.
I use a tick chart showing each trade(graphed as equivolume) and the bid & ask levels. Many times all the trades will be at one price level, yet the bid & ask will fluctuate above and below that price every other second. To me it has the feel of a large order being worked. Not that it's...
Yes, I use NeoTicker charting showing trade, bid and ask prices. But also, 15sec, 100 tick, 1, 5, 15, 30m, & day small charts inset. Gets the total picture. Great for scalps.
