Just coming back from vacation and saw the volatility I missed (SPY plunging 12% over the period before rebounding). Can't be certain what would have happened, but I believe it should have been positive for my account.

Thanks. Seems volatility of account is part of my game - although it does not have to be as violent as it has been recently. This month up big so far - unfortunately won't be able to trade next 10-12 days as I am on vacation: counting my lost earnings :)

Yes, I mean re-acquiring that stock (buying). I don't look at my transaction history for past month to see whether I traded that stock before.

I like it that way. Check out those weeks with lots of participation - down maybe 20-50% for the week. I must be doing something right now!

What does that mean? When I am placing a trade, I don't look at my prior trades to see whether this will result in a wash sale!
