    Rush returns Monday

This is utterly falacious. Look at who controls the media today. Not a bunch of flaming liberals, but the plutocratic oligarchy. Yet, the conservatives still wail about the 'liberal' press. It's a joke now. The other day I heard Michael Savage screaming about how Brokaw, Rather, Jennings et...

    The Surf Report

Agreed, the Bush administration (and any administration would do the same) will do ALL in their power to postpone the day of reckoning until after the election. Otherwise they are out of office. g

    Rush returns Monday

Even Rush knows he's not really in the news business. He admits he is an 'entertainer'. I guess this gives him license to lie his ass off. And they are not 'nitpicks'...they are big egregious lies. g

    Rush returns Monday

Thanks for posting this stuff ArogueTrader. For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone can stomach this whining, arrogant, jerk, and all the other wannabes that have sprung up to cash in on the phenomenon. I listen now and then just to see what they are up to, but the spin, distortion...

    Soros's Deep Pockets vs. Bush

Disaster awaits if Bush isn't replaced. He is setting us way back in international relations. It's hubris to think this doesn't matter. Ham-fisted is the way I would characterize this administrations diplomatic efforts (or complete lack thereof). g

what is the best book to buy to learn about trading

And take all advice with a grain of salt. This is what works for NUTSNEAL, but there are a million ways to skin this cat. I don't use fundamentals either, but some of the most successfull TRADERS of all time have and do. g

what is the best book to buy to learn about trading

How I Trade for a Living, by Gary Smith (the other Gary Smith). One of the more honest trading books. It won't give you tools so much as a general idea of what one goes through to get to the point of being successful. g

    Excellent Article

:D Thanks. Someone used the word arrogance. That's appropriate. It will be hubris if he acts on his assumptions as if they were solid. g

    Is it too late?

Ah, good Wally, this just needs a little editing. Just substitute Republican for Democrat at the end there. Really, there is nothing on the left to match the shrill, whining screech of the right-wing haranguers on the AM radio dial. Obviously this is a growth industry right now, just like...

    Is it too late?

Are you kidding? Look at all the real world examples of what the rich and powerful do with their wealth and power. Altruism is for poor people. Enlightened self-interest is a myth. g

Cutting losses - not the best idea

Yes. There are so many ways, but we all struggle find something that works for us and then we start thinking it is the only way. g

    Is it too late?

I've been reading more US history lately and biographies of founding fathers. If you could plop down Jefferson, Adams, Washington, or any of them into modern America, can you imagine what they might think. Surprised, amazed? And probably apalled. Consider Jefferson's vision of what America...

yeh, my flat panel is crips and clear and easy on my eyes. MUCH better than any crt I've ever used and I've used a lot of them. g

Cutting losses - not the best idea

This is OK for funds and maybe indexes, but it doesn't work for trading stocks. I say this based on 1000's of hours of computerized system testing. Others who have done rigorous testing have come to the same conclusion. The conventional wisdom regarding stops is dangerous. g

    Transition: loser to winner

Well...don't know what YOUR story is, but this is not at all unusual for successful traders. It's often a slow start and a long haul...maybe usually. g
