    Russia stocks erase $200 Billion

I don't understand the reason why Ukraine commanders haven't dropped a few bombs at both ends of convoy, then send snipers out with rocket launchers to harass the convoy or even fighter jets. I think that'd be opportunity for easy picking.

    SWIFT ban begins

US and EU could impose a limit or ban export or import certain goods (such as grain, agri-products, fruits, chips,... anything that could be used to support the Putin's I-wanna-to-be Tzar effort) or create quotas for quantity, impose special tolls, taxes, banning freight or transport vehicles...

So - the answer to "Will Putin Invade Ukraine"

I think Ukraine could go on to bomb some sections of highways, some main bridges, and rail lines that lead to Kyiv or warehouses in Kursk or attack those convoys ... that would create logistic problems for the Russian forces, then wait for a few days, then switch on to the offensive mode.

    Russian Debt Going to Default...

on the contrary, CNBC and Investopedia said differently: "Executives at U.S. banks indicate that they expect to face little risk for major disruptions as a result of international sanctions levied against Russia in the wake of its invasion of Ukraine. The reason is that they have pulled back...

So - the answer to "Will Putin Invade Ukraine"

    1) NATO's frontline is stopped at Ukraine, not at Poland's, Hungary's, Czech's border 2) for Ukraine, they'd need to fight the long war like Afghanistan did (9 years) (CIA support was one of the reasons for their success).

So - the answer to "Will Putin Invade Ukraine"

Ukraine's problem is becoming US' problem. it shouldn't. let European Union solve their own problem(s). US would just supply fuel, materials, logistics support to Ukraine.

So - the answer to "Will Putin Invade Ukraine"

I think Putin's Generals are waiting for the dry season in Ukraine around May time frame. for the time being, Putin is going to pull some stuns here and there, so its effect wouldn't be shocking when the invasion time comes. then Ukraine would need to shoot rockets and bomb Moscow and Kremlin

    Will Russia invade Ukraine

haha probably, Russian Air Force is coming to get you :). if I were you, I'd run and hide in your Y2K bunker :), and stay there until your buddy "S200S" gives you a phone call over the land line. at least Putin is not as desperate as Kim Jong Un. does Putin have balls of steel? that's more...

    Will Russia invade Ukraine

I think Russia has capability to invade Ukraine, but could it hold on to it? Ukraine is a big country, other countries wouldn't want to return to the old Soviet's regime, then they'd support Ukraine to wage the guerilla war with Russia. Ukraine could become Russia's Afghanistan 2.

What are you going to do about inflation?

at your age, I hope you're healthy enough for the maintenance chores or else they d eat into your profit. inflation is fact of life. it's been around, but high inflation is unusual, at least for the US. it'd reverse to the mean, probably, it'd take a bit longer this time around. as you've heard...

    Will Russia invade Ukraine

there're economic incentives for Russia to invade Ukraine 1) back in the Soviet's time, Ukraine was Russia's breadbasket. 2) 3 of Russia's gas pipelines travers Ukraine. 3) it just wants to prove economic sanction has had little impact on its econ.

Reverse Stock Split should be prohibited!

I didn't trade bank stocks then. I was attracted to the low priced stocks then like VTSS. I think it was reverse-split 1:20 or something. it was too long ago to remember... I think it's been delisted or bankrupted... I lost about $15K on the trade :)

Reverse Stock Split should be prohibited!

that is on paper, but in reality Citi is currently traded at $62, not at $500/share as you stated. It might bounce back up to $500 in the future. probably, when the DJI would be traded at 100,000.... If you do the math, the loss would come at about 90% loss on the C investment. or if you talked...

Reverse Stock Split should be prohibited!

if an investor bought Citi stock shares (like 1000) at the beginning of 2007 for $50/share, then it meant you could virtually kiss your money (~$50000 bucks or 90% of your initial investment) goodbye; because it'd take century or forever for a bank stock like Citi to go back up to $500 share...
