I don't really care which way the market moves. As long as there's movement I scalp with size. In and out. Done for the day. No overnight risk. No options. No futures. I used to trade futures and options with HUGE P&L swings. Now I just scalp equities with nice smooth upward sloping equity...

I'm up $2047.50 today. I'm done for the day. Just scalping equities. You gotta learn from your mistakes. It looks like you are not learning from your mistakes thus blowing account after account and still making the same mistakes. The reason I know this is that I USED TO BE LIKE YOU! Hopefully...

It's not all a money machine. Gotta account for losses and flat days. Sometimes the market might not have the opportunities for you to capitalize on. But honestly, I believe there are great opportunities every single day. You just need to keep improving your skills to capture those moves.

You wrote, "Then why the hell were you sweating a few bad GC trades?" Ahh, you are observant. Have you noticed me talking about GC lately? I have NOT traded it actively in 2020. 2019, I took some heavy losses in GC. That experience and thanks to your encouragement to stop trading GC that's why...

$1K/day is not good enough considering all of the efforts I put in. We are talking thousands and thousands of hour over a decade. This is the practice part. I'll steadily scale it up over time.

Yeah, I've thought what is my next step. My strategy trades extremely liquid large cap names unlike the YouTube trading furus trading microcaps and small caps. So, I don't see a capacity issue with my style. Here's my take on the situation. Hopefully in 1 -2 yrs, my skill level will get to the...

That's the crazy thing. One day I'll have my track record audited. It's way better than theses YouTube daytrading furus! What do I do? I withdraw the cash and use it to pay bills and spending cash. Last month, I paid my hefty property taxes from the gains on this account thus not touching my...

Read my journal: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/the-road-to-consistency.335578/page-17 I'm trading not that much more than $26K and I regularly make over $1K+ every day. Once you know how to trade, then money comes easily even on a small account.

There are 2 types of traders —-

I would disagree. My trading results were HORRIBLE! Probably akin to the bottom 1%. Now in 2020, I regularly make 4 figure days, which from cursory observation would probably place me in the top 1% of daytraders. Of course, I have the occasionally big losses but I recover each time. I'm...
