The 5-minute is great for entries and exits (been using it for years), however a longer term chart is essential to determine trend. I always ("almost always") trade in the direction of the 15 or 30 minute chart (using ema's and MACD).

100% to ISLD. I've been unable to find ECN marketshare data on the q's ever since ISLD "closed the book" on ETF's. It's been my experience though, that ISLD still provides the greatest liquidity on ETF's.
