Thanks but I'm not sure if Portfolio123 will let you backtest what happens to stocks that have just had an earnings estimate revision on a particular day. I emailed them for an answer last week but haven't got a response yet.

Anyone know a good program that can backtest a strategy based on earnings estimates? I'm looking for something that: 1. Isn't outrageously expensive 2. Has earnings estimates, earnings revisions, and stock price data for each day of the year on a historical basis (at least 3-5 years worth)

Apparently ERCO is awful and sucks, but I'm curious as to why. 1. What does ERCO cost? 2. Can you short Nasdaq stocks on it? 3. How often do you get filled? 4. Is there a lot of slippage?

Anyone know who Penson and TradeStation use for stock loan? If I have to say once nice thing about SLK, I never found their stock loan dep't to be that bad.

Trade-Ideas is a toy compared to the advanced capabilities of RadarScreen. But accessing RadarScreen's "advanced capabilities" is a pain in the ass. It's got a horrible user interface that makes it tough to set up and display screens of anything but basic trade, chart, and quote fields...

Neovest (www.neovest.com) is one of the best. But it's geared to (and priced for) professionals so if you're a retail guy who doesn't do much volume, it might not pay for itself.
