    Is Trading Dying Out?

Not sure how you trade but it's very obvious from this comment that you never focused on edges that existed throughout the years, starting with SOES bandits. Bullets, rebate trading, CHX arbs, conversions, tape reading, etc., none of these edges exist anymore and there is nothing even...

    Managing Money...............?

On every topic you have ever posted, it has been consistently pointed out that you are a retard that speaks out of his ass just for the sake of attention. You don't know what you are talking about. Period. It's not even an insult at this point, it's a fact. By pointing this out, hopefully...

went from 39% to 450% return, looking for prop firm

I thought you started with 30k in 2005 and had amazing double to triple digit returns for 4 years? Is your story changing again?

went from 39% to 450% return, looking for prop firm

You probably may need to re-read your original post. You gave annual returns.

    Schonfeld Traders R.I.P.

Would not make much sense. The bank prop traders lose their edge if they leave the bank. Schonfeld and other bigger prop firms have been through this before in the past. A few might be able to keep their edge through certain connections, but most lose it.

    Managing Money...............?

As with all other topics you comment on, you have no clue WTF you are talking about.

    Managing Money...............?

Look I am just telling you how it is. Feel free to believe what you want. If you have a true edge, you won't do a managed account. Often, you won't even be able to do a managed account because the strategy is not so simple. If you really want to start managing money and have strong belief...

went from 39% to 450% return, looking for prop firm

So you started with 30k and had those returns? That you would mean you would have close to $4mil in capital right now and that is assuming no leverage. You obviously fail to realize that any credible prop firm would scrutinize your returns. You can write a PM to Don Bright at any time as...

    Managing Money...............?

That's different from getting an actual investment into your own operation with lockup agreements. Those with real edges to protect won't do managed accounts because their trades & positions are exposed.

    Managing Money...............?

Would it be a managed account or an actual investment? Plenty of institutions will do a managed account, but if might be against your interest to do so as they are just fishing for edges & strategies they can copy.

    Managing Money...............?

If you fit the FINRA regs and the requirements of the institution, they can allocate to you if they choose to. A one person shop is quite unlikely to fit those requirements but it is possible. I really do not understand what you mean by "prior connection". Maybe you mean an ex-partner and...

New trader. Is my strategy ridiculous?

Money hungry obviously, but extremely smart? I highly doubt it judging from your trading strategy. Nevertheless, thanks for the interesting info about the boomtown, looks like a number of you Canadians lucked out. Maybe some of the struggling traders here should re-consider their current...

    Managing Money...............?

No links, just a matter of knowing and being in the business. FINRA regs you can look up on your own and most institutions such as the ones I mentioned follow that. They have to do with proper reporting requirements, how much an institution can invest in a particular fund, proper support, etc...

    Managing Money...............?

I'm sorry but this is plain false. Any properly setup entity can pitch to large institutions such as pension funds, FoFs, Asset Management, insurance funds and large banks. You do not need to have a connection, you simply have to fit the requirements and fit the bill. Often, you may need to...

    Unemployment Benefits Aren't Stimulus

Well I wasn't really hinting at suicide. I'm talking about riots, looting, stick-ups, home burglaries and robberies.

    Unemployment Benefits Aren't Stimulus

I understand the rhetoric against unemployment benefits and I do not exactly disagree. But do any of you realize that unemployment insurance keeps the population docile? The jobs are not there and they will not appear just because there are more out there active in the workforce. What would...

Buffett And Gates Encourage Billionaires To Donate At Least Half of Their Fortunes

LOL, you really should research the Gates Foundation. It might as well be renamed the Genocide Foundation. Silly sheeple.

    Schonfeld Traders R.I.P.

I have called on this happening years ago. Very few listened. I tried suggesting new ideas & concepts to milk out whatever few edges were left and start positioning for the future. Noone listened. Luckily, I was smart enough to do myself a favor and get out of business while in an...

    Wheat Grass Info

Hate to break it to you, but you're about 10 years late to the trend. Certain farms freeze it in ice cubes and mass produce it that way. Otherwise it has to be juiced on-site.
