QCharts servers are consistently slow at higher vol times of the day for the last 4 months. I am getting those orange boxes 4-5 times a day so I switch servers, very annoying. I agree that lycos probably has 4 employees on qcharts and they are billing credit cards, the customer service side...

If it improves when you hit the monitor the its the monitor, if its better after kicking the computer , probably the video card ( without getting highly technical). Reconnect the video cable but sounds like bad monitor.:(

The most important thing about those penalties is that the IRS and states( in PA) usually dont bill you for the late est taxes until 2 or 3 years later and by then you will notice it. Unless your accountant sees you were late and does a late est tax form. I hate tax time.

If the mb beeps on power up but then stops he may need to set the bios to defaults then see if the memory is found. Just a thing to try.

Besides the spread, which you will almost never beat( like buy at bid) , I watch how much size is usually on the b/a. If its always 100 shares or small amounts you may erode much of your profit trying to get out of a larger order. I always try to avoid thin stocks, just not worth the stress...

Can't blame IB, if theres a cancel fee every broker will pass it on in some way. I have used IB for 18 months for futures and stocks , it is the best company I have come across. Between the 1000 contract size always sitting on the bid / ask and the spreads which are crazy , I figure the CBOE...

Every indicator has a look-back, large look-back gives a smooth indicator but gives late signals, late in...late out. Check out this site, years ago he was the leader in low lag stuff, plenty of info there. Hope it is helpful. http://www.jurikres.com/index.htm

When I used Tradestation 4 a few years ago I did a few trials of that fuzzy builder. I did get it to do something with my indicator package but honestly it was so damn complicated I could never really figure out what it was doing, but I think the guy that sells it knows how it works:confused:

I dont have any problems like that, try changing servers. The boston servers always seem to be missing data.
