Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Crypto market is 24/7 by the way. So as a trader do you 100% sell off all your bitcoin every evening? What if it goes higher while you were sleeping? Buyback higher? Since you are trading only during the day you are missing out all the upwards moves at the night bit coin makes too.

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Dont bother with naysayers. At the end of the day the point is to make money regardless of investing or trading. 90% of traders lose while 90% of investors makes money. There is the saying "follow the trend", I can also say "follow the statistics". Human nature always like to make things...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Not true. Satoshi Nakomoto has 1 million bitcoins and went from zero net worth to 50 billion net worth. The largest Shiba Inu holder bought $8k when it was peanuts, recently he was worth $5 billion just a year plus later. Dropped abit since the crash but his still worth a few billions. I...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Again, I've never heard of any crypto billionaire trader. Literally all of them became billionaires simply by holding. I rest my case.

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

This can be said of every bottoms of the bear market. It will be hard for a trader to beat someone who bought btc at $3k++ in 2018. There's a reason why crypto billionaires become billionaires by holding. I've never heard of a crypto trader becoming a billionaire.

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

That is why there is no 100% correct answer, it depends on an individual's goals and tolerance level. If you want a technically correct answer. You have to trade a billion like how you trade $10k. A 10% loss is a 10% loss. But to one it is $100 million to the other it is $1k. Psychologically it...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

I don't agree totally. It depends on when you get in to buy and hold and which stock/crypto you bought. If say you bought 10,000 btc at 0.06. There is no way in blue hell a trader can make more by trading. Reason being as a trader most of the time you don't go all in 100% of your capital. You...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Yes, it is hard to hodl. But if you really believe in it you should. This is no different from billionaires whose company stocks they own fluctuates in the billions. If you want to get to the point of being f**k you type of rich, then you have to learn how to deal with the fluctuations...

My feeling is it is a group of Asian whiz kids.

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

No one truly knows until it's played out. That is why trading/investing is part art part science. If someone is well to do, dumping $1k on something that looks like a promising revolutionary idea like btc isn't far fetched.

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Depends on where you buy and hold. If you bought at the infancy or the bottom of a bear market it is hard or near impossible to outperform that. Trend following systems while on paper outperform buy and hold but it is curve fitted to more than a decade worth of btc prices data. If you were to...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

Lets put bitcoin staring value at $0.1 for simplicity sake. At bitcoins current value at $56k. You made 560000x returns on investment not just $5k per annum. That's where the crazy exponential returns kick in. $1k invested would be $560 million now.

    Crypto: Interesting numbers...

Yes, we are still early. Not early early but early. Crypto is a total wealth transfer from old financial system to new, and so far it's only 12 years. The whole process will take decades to happen but the opportunity for maximum gains are slowly closing in.

    Crypto: Interesting numbers...

We dont know how the bear market will play out this run. It could be a brief one and not 4 years bear to bull again. My reasoning is that now that crypto is widespread and people are paying attention to it unlike before. Also, before in 2017 most projects were just white paper and promises and...

Can you beat someone who religiously buy and hold bitcoin from inception with trading?

As in the case above you said so yourself that there is no way to beat a buy and hold investor that got in from the start. You can make money from trading bitcoin from the start, but it definitely won't be more than an early investor due to the exponential returns he has. What the investor is...
