Sounds like a good even spread of time frames. Seeing as you pretty much jump in threes and fours ( 5/15m/H1 ) have you ever tried a 1 minute to help pinpoint your entries?

Can I ask what time frames some of you are using to trade the Dow. I'd be very interested to know if there are any traders trading off of very small time frames, ie, 1m or even smaller?

Today's high has double topped with yesterday's high. Will it break higher I wonder?

Did they ( whoever they are ) know my SL was there, because it went 9 pips past it, and then fell 100 pips in a flash!?o_O

No problem Fonz. I know the statistics, and I've done enough research into this business to know that there's a lot of waffle on trading forums. At the end of the day though, there is only one thing that matters, and that is the ability to make money, for that is why we are all here is it not...

I'm new to trading. If a career as a day trader is indeed possible, I intend to find out how as quickly as possible within my limits.

Newbie lesson learned for today: When someone says it's not a great day for trading ( above ) it's more than likely going to be the exact opposite.:D

The 76.4% fib from yesterday's low is right on top of today's S1 pivot @ 31,311, which I guess is the reason why the price stopped there.
