    hard is pain in the ass. auditing is a pain, skew is terrible and portfolio vol is all over the place. But I get your point regarding fees. It is the margining I am most concerned about.

    RVs are not as popular in Europe as in the US...large car (family MPV) and different hotels are more interesting as you see more of the cities vs caravan parks. More expensive of course but not a huge challenge for us.

    maybe you are right - perhaps the adrenaline rush of not getting caught is where most of the excitement is. But surely a temporary fix at best with a highly asymmetric risk/reward.

    It is interesting than no one has suggested a prop desk, hedge fund hotel, multimanager structures, etc... as a way to connect with other like minded individuals. This tells me that the answer is not necessarly AUM growth and institutionalisation.
