Maybe so. Could you walk me through the reasoning?

    Fractal Theory I

Here are 2 examples of what I thought were FTT's of a BBT1 that turned out not to be. (Although probably not relevant, I observe that had the day opened at 8:30 instead of 9:30 there would have been significant volume and a different context that would have made more sense to me). What did I do...

    Fractal Theory I

I'm just learning this too, so all I can tell you is what I've observed in my very limited experience, and that is that there are a number of elements that make up complexity, and price is not one of them. Up to a point, you might look at number of bars, number of FC's if there was only one or...

    Fractal Theory I

I wouldn't have thought that to be a SOC because it doesn't look like the FC leading up to P2 matches the complexity of what came before.

    Fractal Theory I

My sincere gratitude to Heroic for this thread. I appreciate how difficult as well as time consuming it is to put fractal theory into words that are precise and comprehensible. I admit I have spent years unsuccessfully trying to understand the material on this subject as presented by Jack and...

Upside number 2: Important point. I have seen successful traders enter threads with the generous intention to share their knowledge and when faced with hostility, cynicism, arguments or demands for proof, simply disappear. Often successful traders seem to have an intuitive sense that allows them...

Yes, that does help. Thanks for the extra clarification.

    Fractal Theory I

I can do the study, but actually, I was hoping for a simple answer. I conclude that the complexity means there are simpler "building blocks" in understanding that might best be mastered before tackling times like these. If that is the case, do you recommend we be more patient and let you present...

    Fractal Theory I

I cant imagine trying to trade the 2m. I just zoomed in to see what was going on, hoping that might be reflected in what is observable on the 5m.

    Fractal Theory I

If you zoom in to the 2m you will see it.

    Fractal Theory I

In examining the FC from 10:10 to 10:30 can be seen a complete volume cycle and FTT on a faster fractal. What are the indications on this time frame that the fractal containing BBT1 has been promoted to a higher fractal?

Wow! Please, folks! Don't you understand the tremendous generosity of Heroic to be providing this information? Volunteers are not in it for anything but the opportunity to give something of value. I agree that another chart is welcome. I must say, though, that there was a wealth of information...

    Fractal Theory I

I would rather struggle with posts that are different than to not get the benefit of seeing them at all. Using the line strengths and annotation conventions described here has been a difficult adjustment for me. I don't regret the change, though and I trust that in the end it will prove to...

..oops, some of Heroics quote got chopped off in my last post "6-3 explanation implied IV". Here is the entire quote.

Here is the explanation by Heroic that I copied from an earlier post.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. My color vision is bad so I tend to rely on blue and red. I used line weight differences to show that the red BBT2 occurred on bars 7-8. BBT3 would be on bars 8-13. That explains it for me, anyway.
