    Will Georgie get FLUSHED !

The US governments responsibility is to provide for the countrys defense, not the economy. They don't produce anything. They can only spend. People work, produce, innovate, and profit. The government taxes the profit and spends it. They produce nothing. What's Bush going to do? Pass a law that...

AMERICAN viewpoints on the Iraq Crisis

Maybe it's the conclusion he's come to because in his experience of the world it's all he knows. If Bush tried to steal those peoples oil me and about 200 million other Americans would vote his ass out of office so fast it would make his head spin. No major power trips allowed here. :p...

Maybe the Iraqi's can improve as much in the next 150 years as we all have in the last 150. :)

AMERICAN viewpoints on the Iraq Crisis

Is this like the time we invaded Iraq the first time and kept all their oil, and Kuwait's oil, or the time we prevailed over Japan and Germany and kept their countries for our own? Oh, that's right. I almost forgot. We didn't. We gave them back their freedom, helped them rebuild their countries...

How to deal with those non-Americans messing with threads on American National Intere

I don't blame the EU for their reluctance. They haven't been attacked recently. When you're attacked by a bully though, you only have two choices really. One is to rise up and nail the SOB like the US, the UK, the Israeli's and others have done in the past. The other is to try to negotiate...

    A letter to Trent Lott

Lott was talking to and being kind to a sick old man (Thurman). Good for him. Then the circus opened. Look at all the clowns. :p :p :p

POLL: The repercussions of a US attack on Iraq

This is the kind of thing we get when the Democrats are in power, along with Waco and Ruby Ridge. Spooky stuff. They always go after the "soft targets". Sort of like Saddam.

What good do daytraders do to society?

When you're sitting around on your butt all day long you tend to produce fewer farts, which is good for the environment.

    How do they know??

They note YOUR position and then purposely shake you out. Then they laugh. :p

POLL: The repercussions of a US attack on Iraq

What are the repercussions of doing nothing? Another 5-10 years of uranium yellowcake mining, chemical research, biological research, nuclear engineering, stockpiling. What is the character of the man that will have all this power? He's even murdered family members.

Question for you, who is sane?

It's something else. Nobodys insane. They're just lying. Some people do that. They are called "liars". . Those buggers are all over the place They will always tell you that it was just "a mistake" or a "misunderstanding", and if you believe it you're screwed. Or the liar will just...

What to do when you get a margin call?

First you risk your own money, then you risk someone elses money (margin), then your credit runs out and you need to come up with more money. The situation has loser written all over it IMO, unless the margin call comes in an a small side account that you can easily cover, and even then it's...

    Make a girl melt

Yet were her thoughts of him, and at times a feeling of sadness Passed o'er her soul, as the sailing shades of clouds in the moonlight. Flitted accross the floor and darkened the room for a moment.

    I confess, I blew out

That's good advice for sure. Don't wallow in it. That's the difference between being contrite and giving up. :)

    I confess, I blew out

Or before the fact, from experience. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
  20. R

    I confess, I blew out

Not to be contrary but I look at it the other way around, as the triumph of experience over hope. It was hope(misplaced) that caused the mess and experience that will keep it from happening again. :)
