If IB's Website Contains Falsehoods, Customers are SOL

Are you assessing a change in IB's mentality?

If IB's Website Contains Falsehoods, Customers are SOL

IB will probably lose more than $480 in commissions from you alone, and will definitely lose more than $480 in the wake of this thread. Perhaps it's an accounting issue??

IB execute stop way above market price

Whether individuals are right or wrong is a separate issue--but for some mysterious reason, issues that would otherwise be (first) handled in a private forum keep popping up on Elite Trader. IMO, IB could be doing more to increase their confidence rating. Meanwhile, it is a pity, because they...

    Choicetrade as an Options Broker

The following link shows the Barron's March 6, 2006 broker survey results. TOS was rated 4.5 stars (just under OXP), and Choicetrade was rated as 4.0 (scroll down, under the active trader list). There are several other brokers there with a ranking of 4.0 plus as well...

IB execute stop way above market price

I sent IB many PM's (for a liquidation problem) as per their request and haven't heard back from them in 2.5 weeks. I would imagine if you are wrong they will respond by tomorrow; if you are right, have a lot of patience.

    Choicetrade as an Options Broker

If you choose IB and ever have a problem with them, be prepared... I speak from my own experience--still not done with them.

Brokerage firms with highest retail option volume

Anyone have a sense who are the top five brokerage firms for option volume for retail customers? (I am assuming IB and OXP are definitely on the list) ...also a sense of the order of their ranking?

    Choicetrade as an Options Broker

About everyone says good things about Think or Swim (assuming the fee per contract isn't an issue). Choicetrade does not have a minimum fee of $5. They charge $.75 per contract if the trade is 21 or more contracts, otherwise $1 per contract. Perhaps you mean the cost for stock purchases (re...

    Choicetrade as an Options Broker

(about one month later) IMO Choicetrade is much more concerned about the individual customer than guess who.

    RedSky experiences

Amazingly well run. Metooxx says Redsky really know options. I feel that way about everyone there when I have made inquiries; they are in reality primarily an institutional broker, but would accept certain individual traders.

Redsky's minimum is 25k as per Chaz Shaw of Redsky with Fimat clearance.

Nightmare on withdrawing your fund from IB ...continue

    1) Thank you for clarification re: after Feb 22. Even 1/2 of said response (& days ago) would have reduced the stonewall concern--alternatively, in as much as the issue is brought up in public forum, I would imagine IB can request & receive a privacy waiver to enable full responses on public...

Nightmare on withdrawing your fund from IB ...continue

I thought I had IB's full atttention. They asked me to take the matter private to get a response. We did that, while IB was probably laughing at me for the last 12 days.
