    Add the losers

I know it is in another forum, but follow Brixen here https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/1028145-dax-futures-december-2020. Adding to losers is his whole strategy. He creates a new thread for every DAX contract (3 monthly). He has been applying this strategy consistently for at least 3...

    AMP free platforms?

Ditto, I use SC Package 3 free via AMP. Have done for years. It is fed with he CQG datafeed. All round it is an excellent solution.

    AMP connection problems

Identical experience for me. I even raised a support ticket with AMP and had to cancel it 4 minutes later when I shut down SC, restarted it and found it connected this time. Likewise issues with AMP are few and far between for me as well.

Financial transaction tax by 2021, says Germany's Scholz

The EU are still determined to apply self harm. London (UK) must be so happy they are out of the EU. https://www.cityam.com/angela-merkel-seeks-to-impose-financial-transactions-tax-on-eu-countries/

AMP raises overnights to 100% of SPAN.

Really? USA phone number is right at the top of their home page slightly to the right of centre.

    Rithmic data latency issue

Using CQG data with Sierra Charts. AMP is my broker and I am based in New Zealand. I subscribe to three exchanges (CME, Eurex and HKFE). My connection has been rock solid through all this volatility with no lagging. You need to change to CQG. In my view the issues with CQG are over blown (most...

AMP Global (USA) - Barclays Bank - SEPA Transfers Now Available!!!

Couple of other threads covering the stupidity/absurdity of the new German Tax - surely the new law will get reversed on challenge: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/german-derivatives-traders-shocked-by-new-tax-law.339638/ https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=975445

Any firm with comparable micro futures commission with Interactive Broker?

Post was later deleted by SC. Some rumour/suggestion it may just be the exclusive version of MC that AMP offer, but I have not seen anything official.

Just tried it now - working for me. Try it again.

Any firm with comparable micro futures commission with Interactive Broker?

A large number are free. I use Sierra Chart Package 3 which AMP provide for free. Have a look at their web site and also their other site which is a cost calculator which complies your all in costs based on account size and software/datafeed selection...

How to calculate VWAP deviation bands?

And here is Sierra Charts formula and explanation for Standard Deviation bands/lines: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=108&Name=Volume_Weighted_Average_Price_-_VWAP_-_with_Standard_Deviation_Lines...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

It's not all about me:) I can trade the HKFE, Osaka and Eurex exchanges in my timezone. But I would still support the CME introducing a micro CL as it gives a viable 'learning' futures instrument for those outside the USA timezone due to favourable moves off the London and sometimes Singapore...

Said better than I could/did. Exactly what I meant.

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

Day trades, not holding overnight. Really I see micros as a better learning/experience tool for traders than using SIM - ultimate goal should be to prove the trading strategy and trader confidence on the micro but then move to the emini contract. Push for micro CL is to give traders who don't...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

I understand your point, but for me the relationship of all-in r/t costs is no different with the micro Gold than it is for the micro equities. For instance: with me with AMP (using Sierra and CQG data) my r/t costs are: YM: $3.60 MYM: $0.74 ... so MYM costs are 21% of YM cost. GC: $4.24 MGC...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

I can't argue with what you say as you are in a far more knowledgeable position than me, I am just a humble retail trader from New Zealand. But what I don't understand/can't reconcile therefore are the following: 1/ how then did the micro equity contracts work so well and successfully. 2/ how...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

Hi Matt, Just an on-line 'venue' for Morad Askar (Futures Trader71) to collect the signatures/support. I doubt he would just link the site to the CME as I am aware he has been having discussions with Nymex to promote a micro CL. I would think he would just 'print' the results of the petition...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

Maybe if CME/NYMEX had created the QM with the same tick size as CL it would have been more successful to date. 0.025 tick size is crazy - IMO.

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

@bone I am with @Overnight on this one. I just look to the success of the equity micros. Also see my post immediately above with the different outcomes with 6e and micro 6e plus Gold and micro Gold. Micro Gold has seen substantial increase in daily volume since some brokers (AMP etc) changed...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

Don't agree at all. Your thinking is the same as what people warned about with the introduction of the micro equity index contracts and look at how that has turned out. The QM is a disaster as it does not follow the same tick size of the CL (0.025 vs 0.01). CME and brokers have to do a micro...
