Ditto, I use SC Package 3 free via AMP. Have done for years. It is fed with he CQG datafeed. All round it is an excellent solution.

Identical experience for me. I even raised a support ticket with AMP and had to cancel it 4 minutes later when I shut down SC, restarted it and found it connected this time. Likewise issues with AMP are few and far between for me as well.

A large number are free. I use Sierra Chart Package 3 which AMP provide for free. Have a look at their web site and also their other site which is a cost calculator which complies your all in costs based on account size and software/datafeed selection...

It's not all about me:) I can trade the HKFE, Osaka and Eurex exchanges in my timezone. But I would still support the CME introducing a micro CL as it gives a viable 'learning' futures instrument for those outside the USA timezone due to favourable moves off the London and sometimes Singapore...

I understand your point, but for me the relationship of all-in r/t costs is no different with the micro Gold than it is for the micro equities. For instance: with me with AMP (using Sierra and CQG data) my r/t costs are: YM: $3.60 MYM: $0.74 ... so MYM costs are 21% of YM cost. GC: $4.24 MGC...

Hi Matt, Just an on-line 'venue' for Morad Askar (Futures Trader71) to collect the signatures/support. I doubt he would just link the site to the CME as I am aware he has been having discussions with Nymex to promote a micro CL. I would think he would just 'print' the results of the petition...

Maybe if CME/NYMEX had created the QM with the same tick size as CL it would have been more successful to date. 0.025 tick size is crazy - IMO.

Don't agree at all. Your thinking is the same as what people warned about with the introduction of the micro equity index contracts and look at how that has turned out. The QM is a disaster as it does not follow the same tick size of the CL (0.025 vs 0.01). CME and brokers have to do a micro...
