Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Dunno... I don't really sign up for trading rooms. In general most of them suck from what I can tell. This one, however, has a free 30-day trial: www.advancedtradingworkshop.com I did attend a webinar once taught by one of the guys from this place, where he talked about VSA, which is...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

In continuing with my FREE lesson on how to trade a trend (you don't have to pay me anything - how lucky!), here is a chart showing you the right way to follow a trending move. I just set up a 3 range chart on the ES that shows today's move, with two moving averages on it (10 period EMA and...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Ha ha ha ha... well, isn't that perfect. He has 1000 rules about when not to trade, so I guess you have to pay for months of access to his room before you get to see all of his trade setups because they are so infrequent. Sounds like a good plan to me - if you're the one collecting the money...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Uh... dude.... the ES dropped about 20 full points in the first hour of trading. 20 POINTS. It was crashing like a stone. He took two trades for a point each? And you actually followed him? Can I ask you why exactly you are still logging into this room and learning his stupid useless...

Yep... all handled internally, so can't help you there...

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

On Zenfire, the symbols are just FDAX, FESX, TF, CL, ES, etc... pretty standard I think.

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

No... Eurex seem to be about 20 ticks or so, which is OK. The only one I have noticed with the incredible depth is TF. Oh wait a minute... it's on ICE/Nybot, not the CME... that might explain it. :)

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

I don't think so... I'm looking at it now and seeing changes in the bids/offers in real-time more than 10 ticks away in TF and on the Eurex intruments...

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

Yes, Zen-Fire feed. DAX seems to be good out to 20 ticks on either side, same with EuroStoxx 50.

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

I don't personally think it's useful... however for some reason, it seems to be included on TF with this indicator. You can download it for yourself and try it out... no idea how the coder got that information if you say it's not available from the exchange.

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Perhaps, but it still makes sense if the market is heavily trending and you expect a run of at least 3-4 points. On a choppy day on something like ES, you probably shouldn't cross the market as I described... but there should be no reason not to do it on a retracement when the market has been...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

I'm sure you could go back and do the math on what he has made on average per day over the last few months, then go back and figure out all of his big losers. If he's much better than break-even, I'd be surprised.

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

It's not a niche style of trading, it's an idiot's style of trading. You don't average down and then take small 3 tick winners with 3 point losers. That is just plain stupid. "Cut your losers short and let your winners run" isn't a trading phrase for nothing - that's how you make money.

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

The actual method that you use to get in doesn't matter too much... there are better ways than just looking at a trendline on a minute chart, but anyways just do the math.... how much would you have been risking by getting in in there? And what was your potential reward? The risk/reward ratio is...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

And that's the thing. The trending times are the litmus test of how good a trader is. If he knows how to identify a trend and catch a good portion of it, he is a good trader. That's where all the money is. There are people who trade counter-trend systems and make money, and there are also...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Well, it's a lesson that every trader has to learn. We all wanted the easy way out in the beginning... just listen to some guy who will give you the A, B, C steps to making it. Then we all find out that it's not that easy. That's not to say that all educators are useless... but in the end, you...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

If he was concerned about snap-back rallies, he obviously can't read price action very well. Besides, that's what stops are for... you take a position near a trendline, and if it breaks through and goes the other way, no big deal, it's a small loss. The risk/reward ratio is fine on a move like...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Dude, use your brain. He's been talking about transitioning to trend trades for the past month? Maybe you haven't noticed, but the market has rallied 8.5% from 990 to 1075 in the past few weeks, with multiple days that would have been suitable for trend trading, including today's reversal...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Not taking a short at 1073 is one thing. The market hadn't fully broken down at that point. But after it spiked down through 1072 on heavy volume, all the way to 1068.50 or so, and then retraced back to the 1072 area on lighter volume, you should have shorted there. You could have waited for the...

Which real live future trading room I should choose?

Why exactly are you still paying this guy money? When it's running up or down strongly like this, all you have to do is wait for a retracement and buy and/or short and hold! This isn't rocket science. Here's what you do: Take today's chart from just after the Fed announcement into the...
