    FX risk and Hedging funds sent to a US broker

    No CME Eurodollar Spreads are futures which is a derivative not a security. A security is a stock or a bond, you need to fully fund it (not margin based), hence you're holding USD with your investments. Any kind of derivative is usually margin-based so your USD exposure is only on your P&L...

    FX risk and Hedging funds sent to a US broker

    Hmmm it's not about the hedging cost but just... there's no reason why you may want to hedge using futures if you can keep a AUD denominated account. You would have hedging problems if you were holding a portfolio of USD denominated securities.

    Large FCMs

    16,000 £ per months, asked two months ago @MarketOwl Capitalisation is not that important for FCMs because your assets held at an FCM must be segregated (that is, the part not used as margin). Marex Trading Floor London

    Marex has become the largest institutional broker on options for cocoa sugar and coffee. Their pseudo-retail trading floor is of the past. Rent a desk at a serviced office in Mayfair and the odds are you'll find some start-up hedge funders.

    Guy makes $160,000 and barely making it month to month...

    160k$ minus taxes is only about 80k$, minus insurances is about 75k$ if you rent a flat for 3k$ a month that's only 30k$ left for everything else (food, traveling, phone, internet, tv, etc.) With 2 kids and 1 working wife, you will struggle with 300k$ a year in NYC.

    SMBCapital = YouTube Videos

    The odds that you get stopped out 4 times in a single day in ES with a stop loss of 8-10 ticks is pretty slim especially these days where the market is very directional (that is unless you are contrarian trading). Just my two cents everyone's trading system is different

    A) He likely executes elsewhere than on his charting platform. This is standard in the institutional world and is also the way I execute for the hedge fund I work for. This is because the company needs to manage risk on each traders / quant so they develop their own "execution platform" with...
