Who Made A Million Dollars Today

Is that Goldman Sachs options you trade only? Do you find that there is an advantage in just trading one stock only? Or does it limit the setups you get? Interested to see that you have had 40x returns at times - is this buying OTM options and, if so, do you apply TA to charts to get entry setups?

Any advice for a soon to be full-time trader?

I didn't realise that this was a hard and fast rule? Only joking, I think people are free to spend some or even all of their savings on trading of they want to.

Nice points. Are you referring to swing trading futures here? If so, what sort of setups would you be looking for and, more importantly, what instruments would you swing trade? Thanks.

How much more difficult is trading today versus 100 years ago?

If you are talented then it would be even easier now. Unfortunately, it has also become easier for the majority to lose money as well. This is borne out by the stats at brokers which show that more than 70% lose money.

How much more difficult is trading today versus 100 years ago?

Petite Pele would be even better now with modern fitness and nutrition as well as better referees who would allow his skill to flourish. He'd be banging in the goals for fun.

How to recover from a huge loss?

Thanks for replying. I agree with you that vertical debit spreads cannot be considered 100% defined risk. In a different forum I brought up the point you made at 2 about gaps but could not get a definitive answer. However, I do believe that this is a real risk and, for that reason, it is wrong...

What attracted you to trading options? I'm asking as an options newbie. For me, the attraction is leverage and also the ability to profit when you don't get direction 100% right.

How to recover from a huge loss?

Thks, awesome advice. I take it that if I stick to just buying options and just vertical debit spreads then I can't lose more than the premium paid? So I know my risk from the onset?

Thanks, this is a really good post, I'm going to save this one. I definitely agree with you about looking at daily charts. Maybe even weekly? Are moving volume weighed averages a standard indicator as I don't see them on Trading View?
