I think that I am now ready to unashamedly emulate your approach for a few weeks by putting some capital at risk in play. I could perhaps drift that approach a few months down the line by adding a catalyst/event layer to the equation. This is possibly and edge that could improve the risk/reward...

it is an interesting approach if I understood it well:
1) it's all about asset selection: you only focus on equities that you believe have a good immediate growth potential
2) IV needs to be above x%
3) Strike needs to be below the weeks average trading range
