Trading isn't gambling till execution? Are intraday traders in need of therapy, they gamble more than swingers?

Crossing the road is not viewed as gambling for an adult to do, but, what about an infant. To ask an infant to cross a busy road is this gambling? For any person, there is a wrong and a right way to do things. There is a correct way to trade, not trading correctly is gambling.

trading is certainly not gambling. I never gamble, and i certainly would not trade if i thought it was a gambling game. it's a gentlemans agreement, nothing more.

so when it comes down to picking tops, there is no real concrete or catagoric evidence, no absolute way (except for when the trend has changed/hindsight). Why do people do it then?
