Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Then why do they catch on fire?

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

That video was pretty funny. I hadn't seen that before. The Badger ones are pretty funny too. By the way, undercoating and paint sealant come from the factory already. No need to apply it anymore. I hate selling aftermarket stuff anyways.

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Of course there were. You didn't see the news? And after it was all said and done, the NHTSA concluded that Volt's pose no great risk of fire than any gas powered car. But at least the Volt gives you three weeks to get out of the car before it catches on fire.

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Sure it's funny, and hugely innaccurate. Sort of like propanganda used by governments. Doesn't really matter if it's true, just as long as it instills fear into people. OK that's fine. You have the right to not buy one. But why the hatred. You want to get your panties in a wad over a few test...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

OK, so a couple of Volt's caught on fire in crash tests. The government began investigating. What was their conclusion?

And I thought you were here to have an intelligent discussion. I will admit that I was wrong about that.

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

I don't have all day to sit here research non existent stuff so please save me the time and put up a an article stating that the Volt caught on fire in a real world situation. Otherwise I don't see how you have any credibility. You make up lies and then defend it by calling me a liar and a...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

OK So who do you have supporting your claim? You make a statement backed up by no credible link. No real world Volt crashes or otherwise have resulted in any fires and the crash tested ones did not follow standard procedure that every first responder would know to carry out. Meanwhile a quarter...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

You're a joke. You spread lies about GM admitting problems with Volt fires and then can't even provide a link. You are like a politician that would rather kill a bill that would do good than admit the other side is right on an issue and join them.

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Volt's make up less than 10% of my sales. I have sold less than 20 of them. If it were to end tomorrow, it would hardly affect me. I have never lied about the Volt's. You, however, are the one that lied and said people are not getting more than 25 miles to a charge.

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

I'm not sure, I don't know much about diesels. My only experience is with trucks. People come in looking for diesels and I ask why. A lot of times they just say for the gas mileage. That really doesn't make sense to me because the diesel engine is $8000 more. Plus, diesel fuel is so much more...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Do you drive a normal gas car and worry about that? If the answer is no, why worry about it with the Volt? There have been no real world fires yet for some reason people spread false propaganda about it...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

What do you mean no utility? I can confortably fit three adults and my golf clubs in the car. I don't need any more than that. So GM makes money on engines now, why can't they make money on electric cars now? The Volt still has an engine in it. I'm not so much as pushing the Volt, as I am...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Electric razor on wheels? I don't even know what you mean by that. But you are right, there are very few people willing to pay $40k for an electric vehicle. That's why it will be up to the car company's to bring the cost down to a viable level. But this couldn't happen if a few people in the...

I'm sure it didn't considering Obama wasn't even the President when the subsidies were put into law. $3000 down and $340 a month for a brand new car that I will have to buy probably one tank of gas a year.

Chevy Volt a lemon for GM. Current administration makes sour lemonade.

Ouch! Never heard that one before. Is that your best line? Or maybe it's just a way to deflect the heat off of your ingnorant and untrue comments.

Chevy Volt a lemon for GM. Current administration makes sour lemonade.

Uh, actually I pulled into work for 2 years in a 20 year old Camry. We are not really encouraged or given any additional incentives to buy here. And we generally only buy something when we really like it since we have to pay more than customers for the cars. Volt sales represent less than 10% of...

Chevy Volt takes 27 years before owners save money

Seriously, the union talk is so old. I mean really, the workers these days are getting half what the old timers were getting. You should be happy about that. The subsidies are available to any electric car company. To say they were made for GM is really ignorant, especially considering the...
