    Kaballah

Qaballah is an interpretation of Torah symbolism. Often the hebrew letters themselves are interpreted as symbols and the sequence in which they are written and the numerical value which they have are considered to contain information. Qaballah is often put into practise through meditation. Like...

The dynamics of thought when becoming a trader

Sharing your system has two advantages: 1. It helps you to advance your own understanding of the markets and how you trade them. 2. It allows for the incorporation of good input from others. Sharing a system won't make even so much as a riple in the market. Do yourself a favour and look up...

    Zimbabwe

I'm glad I had a solid foundation in Austrian economics before I started trading. Understanding the role of money supply is the key to understanding economics on a macro level.

    double bottom on spy

It wasn't a bad call. If you were long the decreasing volume after the double bottom would have given you plenty of advance notice to reverse your position anyway.

So do you switch to a 15min chart with indicators at EOD in order to get an impression of market sentiment for the next day or do you switch to that view intra day as well? If the day's price action ends with a CCC formation, does this change your anticipation of prices around the next day's...

It doesn't get more "bread 'n butter" then the FTT on the 1400 bar. Concidering the steepness of the channel and the peekvolume levels it's in the area where an FTT is anticipated. Next you see a little red bar forming with the PRV running up and you get a feeling that you've seen this all...

BullShip Press Presents: 'PennyStocking': Six-Hour Instructional Trading DVD: $297

Timmy always manages to crack me up with the shameless plugging of his bullship. When's the infomercial coming out?

I have noticed something in regards to point 3's: I believe the party line is that point 3's should occur on a bar with increasing volume over the last bar, though I noticed that point 3's can often be drawn if the next bar has increasing volume in the dominant direction. Is my observation...

Spydertrader's Jack Hershey Futures Trading Journal

Hi there. I just started following this method so it would be interesting to see if I get this right. A likely signal is a black 2 black 2 red formation. Decreasing volume after your point 3 would indicate change. Increasing red volume on the breakout would confirm this.

    freaking amazing or pure garbage???

So you're asking if I have an opinion on some guy screaming his lungs out? No sir I don't. Perhaps I'd have an opinion on that teckno track if it wasn't for the guy screaming all over it.

Banks raise $170bn for funds to buy stuck LBO debt to flatter balance sheets

This is financial recycling at it's finest. The only thing missing from the picture is an IPO, but I'm sure we won't have to wait too long.

Cramer says sell HB's 1 week before fed cut

The thing that keeps me from investing in home builder stocks is that most of their assets are tied up in inventory. Couple that with the high debt to equity ratio of the sector and I think the discounts are justified. If bankcuptcies start hitting the sector you can expect at least a 75% mark...

87% of all funds return less than S&P??????

One of the first things I noticed when I became interested in investing is how completely irrational markets are. The example of underperforming funds is one piece of evidence. While the relative underperformance of those funds compared to the index is small, on an absolute return basis over the...

    Neiderhoffer

This is still a rumour untill I read the WSJ article. I can imagine that the editors would take their time though. Niederhoffer blowing up again on naked puts would be... indescribable.

    Yale Up 28% - 5 Billion Gain

That's alot of debt for somebody in their twenties. They say the value of a good education is priceless but I'm pretty sure that $250,000 dollars properly invested will yield more in 20 years then an expensive degree will in a lifetime. 250 000 * (1.28^20) = 34 844 914.4 Best of luck though.

GM Says UAW Calls National Strike

I think it's time for American automakers to sell their manufacturing business and start focusing on their core business: providing pension benefits. Perhaps they can invest the proceeds in Toyota.
