The rules are the same as the CNBC Maserati contest. It does not really simulate trading, but a decent end of day strategy will give you a shot.

If you pull up shorter term charts (i.e. 60 min) the after hours trades will be reflected. For a recent example, compare the daily chart to an hourly chart for RIMM on Dec 21.

While I don't have a problem with not being allowed to trade odd lots, it is extremely annoying when I enter a 500 shr order and get filled on 450, and then the rest of the order gets kicked out because it is an odd lot.

I do a lot of ah trading with IB, and it's extremely annoying to drag out the calculator every night to see where I'm at. I have no idea why they switched from current mkt to closing mkt prices. Would love to hear an explanation from someone.
