TDAMeritrade. I have level for everything excluding naked puts. I'm assuming you mean what they allow you to do and not what you understand.

    IronFist's beginner option trading journal

Let me bring you up to speed on where I am. Sold 4 March 26 SNDL puts for $1.50 for $0.15. Price flew to 0.40 last Friday (expiration) so I rolled them over. I was going to roll them to April 1 1.50 puts but they were 0.35, so I chose to do April 9 1.50 puts for 0.40 totally. So I made no...

Yes! You are back! Was your previous indicator showing which side of Bid/Ask was overbalanced?

    Best broker for emicro trading?

There was some reason I never use them. Don't they require like a $1M account? Or have terrible customer support and you have to resolve your issues here? How much do you pay for a data feed there?

    Best broker for emicro trading?

I have been waiting 12 days for AMP to approve me, thinking about going somewhere else. Who else has comparable rates? Tradovate? Ninjatrader?

Is there a technical term for either of these two trades??

My reason for asking was because I want the answer furthermore!

Is there a technical term for either of these two trades??

I know, but so far in the future, seems like a lot could happen, why would you be stuck with the stock for that long?

Is it still rolling out if you change strike prices?

Wish I had read that before rolling position. Oh well, I'm totally learning. Took forever to get the transaction to go through. I tried to buy APRIL 2 1.50 puts but they were .35, so I put in an order for .40 but it never filled. So then I changed it to APRIL 9 1.50 puts, which got filled...

Is there a technical term for either of these two trades??

Why sell calls so far away? Who knows if the stock will be anywhere near there at that time?

Is it still rolling out if you change strike prices?

Might roll out to 9APRIL instead, could buy/sell for .40 each, net same minus commissions

Is it still rolling out if you change strike prices?

None would assign. I would buy to close the entire 1.5 put position and open half the position at a higher strike price. Previously I was going to take assignment on them regardless and write calls against them, but the prices on calls are nonsense. I literally have to go 3 weeks out to get 5...

Is it still rolling out if you change strike prices?

Or I could sell 1/4 as many 2.5 puts for next contract. Is that an even lesser deal?

Is it still rolling out if you change strike prices?

Currently I am in this situation with SNDL. I sold some 1.5 puts for .20. Now they are at .40. I was going to buy them back and sell them again further, but in order to do this and be able to sell them at .40, I have to go a few contracts into the future, and I don't wish to. In other words...

Can you just keep rolling out losing positions endlessly?

Like if price falls too hugely, the cost of a covered call won't even make sense. If you lose like 30% on the puts and take assignment, the cost of the covered calls will either 1) be too far away that the level you need to make a profit won't even be for sale, or 2) likely be too far out in...
