As far as I know, MT4 on Mac using Wine (or Wine variants) is no longer supported in new Mac OS. I used to use it on old Mac OS and it's not recommended unless you use very simple charting. MT5 should be the same.

Try Youtube videos by keyword "trade by matt". He posts live trades for free each day and he uses CDV. For myself, I use it as a confirmation for breakouts. Of course , this is not a magic tool.

Once or twice a week I think. Every Thursday is storage report day, so it's usually choppy. Currently NG often makes decent moves several hours before regular market session (9:30 am NY). When market decides to become choppy, it can do it even during the regular session.

I used to use ADX but it's bloody lagging IMHO.....

I trade natural gas only (/NG). Regardless of pre-market or regular market, obviously, some big guys intentionally make traps and hunt stops time to time. That's ok. Once, they reveal their real intention for the direction, I can usually recoup my previous losses and make money in the end...

As a breakout, trend-following day trader I most want to avoid choppy market which is only interested in stop hunting. Do we have any early indication to know that? I am trying volume based indicators to figure that out......

My broker AMP doesn't provide day trading margin discount to /NG anymore even though its volatility has been down significantly. Is this also true to other brokers? I think it's because /NG is not very popular product to traders...... :(

It depends how strong your edge is ... Actually your mental part is also affected by your edge.
