This is an election year. The market goes up 80% of the time in election years. I wouldn't count on a crash this year, people. Just google: "election year stock market."

Am thinking SPX will bounce at around 1880, but 1900 works too. Should happen early this coming week, maybe even Monday's open. That is a major TL support, of course. Rally might run up to 2000-2040. Without some strong closes below 1900 the bull is still alive.

DH91, I wouldn't risk "the same amount on each trade." What you need to do it have a maximum risk, such as 3% for swing trades, and not go much beyond that. If you see a so-so trade, you might risk 1% on that one. On another trade that you feel very confident about, you might risk the full 3%...

hi DH91, I would start with stocks because they are less leveraged, and too much leverage will get you into trouble unless you are an expert. (I do love some of the 3X ETFs, though!) I would also learn more about risk management, because that is what truly prevents accounts from blowing up...
