What kind of stocks are you trading, Brown? Is there any pattern as to which stocks you are getting bad fills on vs those you get good fills on? Although I haven't verified myself, but i have been told NASDAQ stops will trigger on bid/ask, but NYSE will trigger on last price...i would be...
Anyone want to share their actual experiences with Laser's server-side stops released several months ago. I'm looking for positive or negative feedback... What kind of fills are people getting?
According to one of the Esignal reps I spoke to, yes, current Esignal Basic users will have to upgrade, but will get a $10 discount. Maybe someone from Esignal can make it official for us here.
I am impressed by Genesis' shortlist. Interactive Brokers is good too:

SPY last price keeps toggling between a value between the bid/ask and another value totally outside of the bid/ask and sometimes as far as 50 cents away. This is happening once every second or two on multiple quotes sources (ie not out-of-market prints)
Right now toggling between 141.22 and 140.7.
From the horse's mouth:
"In addition, effective March 17, 2007, the Section 31 fee rate applicable to securities transactions on the exchanges and over-the-counter markets will decrease to $15.30 per million dollars."

1. Is there an electronic way for you to put the request to Goldman for a hard-to-borrow stock or is the phone the only option? eg something on the platform or can they process it by email for example?
2. How often is Goldman able to find a hard-to-borrow stock for you on average?
GTC's link doesn't seem to work so here again is the link to vote on this, make your voice heard:

Well, I'm not accusing IB of fraud, and I'm not saying IB isn't a great firm in many ways, and I'm not a serious pro, and I do respect everyone's opinion on this thread, but I do want to see IB statements show a breakdown of commission details as described by the OP, especially since IB's...
Generally speaking, for a given price level, the displayed portions of all orders will be executed before the non-displayed portions...You had 100 shares displayed and 900 hidden on each order...so 100 shares got executed from each order first (displayed portions)
Well, im not that impressed with IB's data feed either, too many spikes on their ETF data, like on SPY, QQQQ, DIA etc. I would also like to hear about any good realtime datafeeds that dont have spikes all over the place and backfill fast.
