I thought that price had to break thru the .27-.39 levels with some momentum to really make a good push downwards. I figured there just wasn't enough momentum in the market at the time...and then a last support zone around .10ish levels before it really nose dived.
Anyway, I think I may try...
Ya I think I need to recognize those "stop and reverse" or change of signal type trades. And/Or maybe a trade thats just not going anywhere. one of the trades today I was short around 9:00PST at the 85.51 level and then it made the break for .35 but then just hung in the .40ish range for like...
Ya they said the e4200 will be updated via firmware later this year...whatever...I don't care, IPV6 has awhile before its fully adopted...also Im sure the guys over a DD-WRT will get it sorted out well before then.
Also, like Boli mentioned, if your incoming ISP box doesn't support...
Holy Crap...what a day...man talk about a rollercoaster. I pretty much traded like dog poop all day only to be saved on my last couple trades of the day.
Some flaws going from SIM to live are coming glaring out, which I think is a good thing because I can fix them.
1.) Still really...
Yo,
I think you need to figure out first of all what you need...
1.) Is your feed wireless or hardwired? If hardwired, do you need wireless for the kiddies or messing around on a laptop?
2.) If wireless, remember you are always limited by your limiting factor in terms of speed. IE, if you...
Alrighty...we are finally back live trading...yippie.
I only got about a half day of trading in today. I was having issues getting the data/chart feed up and running properly. Felt good to be live trading again. I forgot how different it feels to live trade vs. SIM.
Trading wise, I had...
Totally been lagging on the journal. Sorry about that...guess I should apologize to myself. I wan't trading/everyday last week, but it still wound up being a pretty good week. I felt like I traded fairly decent...maybe about a B/B-. I definitely feel like things are starting to come a bit...
How do you guys feel about his 89.20 level...obviously, support has become resistance...do we go lower or higher from here?
EDIT: I guess I should give my opinion...hehe...if 85.85 holds we go higher, if not, bombs away.
Ya...I missed that ride...I stepped away from my computer to take care of some domestic duties and missed the entry...oh well, its only half way thru the trading day...waiting on Part 2 of Kid's prediction :D
Just did some quick searching and looks like the feeds in NT7 are only optimized for 1 core and then use the computers RAM to do the heavy lifting.
So if you have an older CPU, most likely you CPU is becoming overloaded and slowing down. I would check your CPU usage when the charts are...
I kinda don't think so since Ninja trader is not Java based...I have a demo acct with them so let me take a look. The how to is more based on the platform (Java) than the actual feed.
What OS are you running? Im not sure what the options are but there may be a way to dedicate more RAM or...
Hey I wrote up a little how to on this issue...more specifically for ToS loading speeds. But give it a try with IB, I think it will help. Shoot me a PM if you want some help.

Mega frustrating day....really my own fault. I just didn't trade very well, I was a little late to the party on most of my trades and then I would try and get in on a breakout only to be wiggled out for a stop out or B/E. Just made it so frustrating being on the right side of the trade only to...
hmmm,
First off, is this a windows machine?
So if you restart windows all together and then go to the script file and reopen it, are the lines still deleted or have they reappeared?
Kinda weird the colors got screwed up, maybe has something to do with the rendering? I have no idea...
Ok so for all you windows users here it is...pretty simple actually:
I learned that OpenGL gets installed automatically with your graphics driver so almost all of you should already have it installed. This should work for any windows OS both in 32-bit and 64-bit. Here is the wiki if you're...
So today's lesson is, "Patience grasshopper" :)
I had a couple of really good trades that I got out way to quick on and just shoulda hung in there. Still wound up a pretty good day and I felt really good for the most part about my trading.
A couple of the trades:
The early morning pit...
So this guide is intended for Linux users, ubuntu in particular. For you Windoze users, I haven't tried it on the various OS. If I get time I will try it out and see if i can make a how to for you.
