    Market System of Operation

Thank you for your advice. I would agree that the focus of this thread is not to make money. I would hope that all of the active participants are able to make money to varying degrees by trading with what they already know, since I see that they tend to be competent, humble, and hard-working...

    Market System of Operation

Thank you for your reply. I don't believe we follow the OB procedure for the RETRO because the case of Bar 8 is Lat 3 already, and RETRO doesn't call for a re-assignment of cases within the lateral, just a test for the volume element. I believe this is why we don't see two elements annotated...

Perhaps Jack has been delayed by other circumstances. He is still going to post a commentary of the FOMC bars on the 18th I believe. I think we have all of the pieces required in order to gain complete facility of the system if we work together, which is why I suggested doing a run through...

workwithus, I forgot to thank you for explaining the acceleration test for PP1 to me. That was very helpful. Also, since there seems to be some mis-annotations on Jack's Chart and in order to test our Test Results against it, we have to manually match his OOE beginnings, I thought of...

    Market System of Operation

I am having a hard time reviewing the charts because these small differences end up changing all of the EEs and turns especially for the day when I log the days compared to Jack's charts. For example, here is an instruction on fanning the rtl for a BO T1 during internal. "smwbbe Question...

    Market System of Operation

Okay, thank you for taking the time to clarify these two possibilities for non-failsafe EE on OB's. I was not sure if you were saying to always wait until the next measurable bar even if the EE occurred on the top row of the OB at first. Now I understand that if it happens on the top, we...

    Market System of Operation

Do you have examples of this in logs or charts? I wasn't sure of how this works, so it will be good for us if you have learned how P1 reset works in regards to OB. If the lower level of the OB triggers a certain PPx EE, then we know to assign P1 to the next bar, but if the top row triggers...

Could be wrong, but even if it was a BO T1 (although the close looks like it's above the rtl), a BO T1 on OB's triggers a PP4 like we were just discussing. This was labeled PP5.

Okay, thank you for the discussion everyone. So in this case it was a mis-annotation on the chart I believe. I was confident in our understanding of the OB procedure, but it did not occur to me to question the annotation on the chart. OB Review [Please correct if there is anything false]...

Yeah, we are thinking the same thing about T1/P2 on that OB. We will have to wait and see how Jack explains it. On his chart a PP5 EE is annotated for that OB, and a b turn is listed as well to go with it, so he must not have gotten T1 repeat on top but we don't know why.

I think we are clear on this effect of assigning P1 to the top row when A band EE or Failsafe occurs, but for example on Bar 17 of [12-16], no failsafe or A Band EE occurs, and P1 and T1 have been assigned in the OOE already. Tt appears that the top row should test True for T1 since the...

    Market System of Operation

Also there is another pair of OB situations that I cannot differentiate which occur on [12-16]. On Bar 33, an OB which tests true for T1 on the top row triggers PP3. It appears that Bar 34 [XR], although having lower volume than 33, is then assigned P1. Compare to Bar 47, it is an OB...

Here is the referenced Chart. -- Also, Jack, could you let us know if any work is currently missing for the learning process at this time? I am doing drills of the Volume Test Procedure of the posted charts every day, but I can also do other work if any is needed at this point in time...

    Market System of Operation

As long as we are on this subject, can we look at Bar 17 of [12-16] as well? I do not know how it was assigned a PP5. More specifically, I do not know how it was assigned a P2 on the upper level. Here is what I logged: Bar 15 is BO T1, so P1 is assigned. Bar 16 has less volume than Bar...

Second that! -- Heh, thank you for taking the time to write that up Gringo. I still read most of your posts. Great content, as always. I miss you guys. I have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for all of the help I've received from yourself, DB, and niko. The memories of our...

    Market System of Operation

I was uncertain about this as well. I have some questions on [12-16] as well but hope to get some of the current ones can be answered by participants before all of the questions get buried by too many. I zoomed in and De-Gapped Jack's chart in paint and Bar 57 looks like FBP with WAIT even...

    Market System of Operation

We are getting P1 because of the leftmost rule. I think perhaps you have a mis-understanding of how to carry out the Volume Test Procedure in regards to this.

    Market System of Operation

Hmm, seems like we're all unsure of this situation with Bar 15 on [12-19]. There are situations when the volume test procedure goes from P1 to T2P. Here is an example. Bar 1 = 10,000 [P1] Bar 2 = 5,000 [P1 Repeat False, T1 Assigned] Bar 3 = 9,000 [T1 Repeat False, P1 Killed, P2...

Thank you for your continued help with my learning process. Your post is an excellent help for me to re-focus on what the best thing to be doing is. Can you please review this Log Page 1 that I tried to do for Jack's posted chart of [12-19]? I have two questions. #1 - Bar 3: What is...
