    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Added a bit more to my AAPL position this morning at 626.32. Figuring the bottom for this latest Bull Flag is in at 609.62, a total pullback of -13.54% from 705.07. Mr. Market will tell us what he thinks soon enough. :)

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

I appreciate your concern for AAPL workers at Foxconn, etc. For my part, I wrote AAPL about it when the news first hit earlier this year. I told AAPL they were the leaders in the industry, and should set an example. Tim Cook wrote back thanking me for the suggestion, and said they would...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

8 years is quite a long "temporarily", but every move is only for as long as it lasts, of course. I don't have a chart for it, but AAPL didn't do well during the 2008-2009 Bear Market either, when it fell from 200 down to 78 in 12 months. I did well with AAPL in 2007, was out of the Market...

I don't understand your charts. Those blue shapes to the right - are those price predictions into the future?

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

So you're saying Friday's closing price is a prediction of AAPL's "worth" in May 2013? If so, I don't agree with your theory. AAPL's Friday closing price/worth to me is the homogenized combination of all fundamental, technical, and emotional beliefs/theories of all traders/investors at 4pm...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Since late September I've been selling AAPL 700/695 January, February, and April Bull Put Spreads. So my bets are for 700 or higher on the 3rd Friday of each of those months. Also have loss control/escape plans in place, in case things go wrong. We'll see what Mr. Market decides.... :)

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

I thought it was called Trend Trading. The Long Term Trend is up, so the odds favor it continuing to go up. Buying pullbacks in uptrends is not a new thing. What's the big deal? I thought it was standard procedure. I also think noting an uptrend's Higher Highs and Higher Lows, and...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

"Catching a falling knife" refers more to going long at lower and lower prices during a Bear Market/Long Term Downtrend - like 2000-2003. I don't think AAPL is in a Long Term Downtrend. It's in a lower left to upper right Long Term Uptrend, with various % moves up, down, and sideways along...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Not been a fun 4 weeks, but as long as AAPL stays above 600, or even above 567.56, the chart is still good. This will become just another pullback in AAPL's multi-year Uptrend. To keep things in perspective: From the high of 705.07 to today's low of 609.84 = -13.54%. AAPL's last pullback...

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

I like that kind of talk! Also tempted to add more, but my AAPL position is already at its maximum allowable amount. So I'll just sit, watch, and squirm.... :p P.S. Still think 600+ will hold. :D

Those earnings will have to be real good to stop this avalanche. If they're not.......

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

    1. WRONG!! Mr. Market decided against 623.55. :( 2. Will 600+ hold?

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Added to my AAPL long position for the last time (reached my account's allowable % limit for 1 stock) at 648.30. I think this pullback is over and AAPL has begun a new rally to 700+. But no one except Mr. Market himself knows for sure....

    AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Added to my AAPL long position this morning at 632.50. The price action tells me this pullback's bottom of 623.55 will hold. If it doesn't, I don't believe AAPL will go below 600. A 625-650 Channel from here, until earnings are announced on the 25th, makes sense to me. We'll see what Mr...
