    The eod-umb journal

The 30yr bonds moved a little, (SEP) I dont see why it shouldnt challenge 114 again though. Wheat /corn moved a little to, would like to see a bit more of a pattern . Live cattle, theres a little peak (fractal) divergence between oct & dec contracts, (head shouldersVS lower low) i...

    The eod-umb journal

In the event anyones wondering "whats the strategy", i dont have one. Feel free to flick through this quasi/faux trading guide i wrote mostly for my amusement, when i realised i had no real idea what i was talking about.

    The eod-umb journal

Liking the look of a few grains at the moment; Dec wheat's just formed a nice three bar reversal, i like to see more bars in these before dropping buy stops in. 335 looks like the price id be happy with for a buy, will see what the price does over the next few days. Oats and canola...

    I'm a noob to Forex

Shoot, there's tonne's of stuff on here with regard to all sort's of stuff. Forex don't seem to be a sharing brotherhood though, (see thread on moneytec, or just visit moneytec), but yes, just wing it. Damn the result , you'll probably learn more regardless. :)

    The eod-umb journal

It has come to my attention, that im the only one that seems to know what im talking about, and given significant memory problems, i've concluded a journal may establish not only some discipline, but given my record keeping ability, may actually be the only way to record my prospective trade...

Where can I trade exotic currencies?

Ah, exotic places.....I think gft claim to have 56 currency pairs, I could be completely wrong though. I considered heavy diversification on fx, to sort of simulate my commodities method, turns out im just to damn disorganised to work it properly. Would have to do it on a eod basis...

MoneyTec Forums: Abysmal, lowlife snakeoil standards

I must say, the motivations appear dubious. Im yet to to be convinced the whole thing isn't sort of a cyber used car yard, but i find it fun to read system seller's flame each other's thread's. At this point, i can say categorically Ive learnt fa (kind of like ta, but not as usefull) about...

The Shuttle and American Space Program - A New Strategy

Ironically, its probably the old technology that will effect the future most-a bit of space junk could take out anything thats been designed or envisaged so far.

    For Directional traders

Option traders, aaaaarghhh!! Its like the backtesting gamma/neutral bell curve optimisation bizarro world nightmare from hell, here. Just throwing this out there, but with a halfways decent charting method, surely trading actual cme products, rather than the share (despite its...

    Want What The Market Wants

Ahh, so much clearer... I think. :) Despite markets being (theoretically) random , the approach is'nt, thus defining the potential risk/ reward of any given outcome, or something like that. Way i read it, it was some sort of field of dreams scenario, lol. Back (sort of ) on...

    Want What The Market Wants

Electric, i seem to be suffering a logic-brain spasm here (yes, this occurs frequently) but could you put that in plain language? Youre saying the reaction to equal odds outcomes determines.... huh?

    Silver turning to Gold

Whoops, my big , was up late watching the tour de france , im not big on numbers or time. I meant the area before the level was hit, and the swing directly after it was hit. Could have been late night blurry eyes, but you get that. If only i could stay up AND pay attention...

    Silver turning to Gold

Blimey, did you get your 5 yr old nephew to draw those labels? Thought about that level, but when i saw that movement, bloody hell-dont like small time frame charts. Clear as day on the 5 / 20 min, i guess anyone who could stay awake that long and mix it up might have done ok...

    Want What The Market Wants

There is something to this lunar cycle stuff, for sure. A lot of large moves and trends develop at these times: Its just a co-incidence, they co-incide with many contract month rollovers. What do i know about fractal strategy? Like i said, a thing or two-so thats one or two things...

    Ryan Jones "Options for Profits"

Have looked at it, all i can say is the spreadsheet looks impressive. But it would want to be for written options, i guess! Written option strategies were discussed in another thread im sure, the phrase "eat like birds, shit like elephants" seemed to stick in my mind...
