All helps, how do you break up order effectively? I seen that you can program the entry to work the bid till you get a good fill or be hidden until there's enough offers then like sniper get the order in and get filled ?

When designing a automated algo, what counter HFT capability do you/can implement ? I understand working on a bigger time frame helps.

I am the trader and im getting someone to help get me set up on Amibroker - in terms of security, does everything run on my own local machine not in the cloud or report back to amibroker hq?

@mst - How do they stack up SC vs Amibroker Amibroker has the edge on backtesting SC can do chart trading easily and link to brokers to automate easily I think Amibroker would be the number 1 in the game if it could link multiple brokers / Data like what MC.Net can do. Which is great you can...

I am trading lol Why do you think every fund mostly writes there own code for security reasons is 1 of the big reasons it's better to be safe than sorry!

Before we go off topic, do you automate your trading MST with Amibroker and IB? Have you compared vs Sierra charts? Amibroker back testing is amazing but trying to find some users that automate is hard and yahoo groups is so in Un user friendly to navigate.

Have you compared Amibroker to Sierra Charts for automation? I think there both good but keen to hear from someone who has used both.
