Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

Seems that I talk myself in circles regarding the meaning of volume. Here, after a significant advance to the downside, I think there is some meaning in this spike. Obviously, buyers and sellers have met on happy grounds, since price stayed in a tight range on the tick chart. That gives me...

Here is my weekly. looks like a big hinge. I would like it better if price had run up higher, but if 100 does not hold, who knows. Hope I am not too far afield.

This would not have been a very easy morning as price really just stayed in a range all day. In hindsight, there were some good trades, particularly the lunchtme channel.

Sector Analysis Using Pure Price Action

Gringo, I am enjoying your posts on etfs. I mentioned it earlier in chat, but long term bonds are making a nice hinge on the daily. fwiw. I have also started trading etfs pretty much using Db's straight line approach. I am trading the daily using 60 min chart for entry. So far, so good.

Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

Db, Looking over Friday's action, we can see a possible triangle/hinge is angled upward. It appears that the midline of the hinge is also honored by price if it is angled as well. Is this something that has been discussed before on these sl threads. Usually we see charts of symmetrical...

Yes G, I think that is the one using the 12/31 and 1/31 lows. Something like this.

Good Morning DB. This is my "hourly" chart that I keep on 10,000volume. It seems to make PA a bit smoother for me. Is there something I am missing by not using a time based chart?
