    SMB, T3, etc.

Are foreigners trading remotely at these firms required to get a Series 56? What are other prop firms that allow trading access to SPX or ES options spreads on CBOE and CME?

quick question: the trading times for SPX options?

One should be able to trade during curb session. Maybe your broker is faulty or provide less good service. Some brokers have a lot of businesses like HF's, CTA's and FO's as their clients so they provide great execution services.

One may look and try to see the general characteristics of the market as a whole. Bull: upward grinding market with sharp/violent corrections to the down side Bear: downward grinding market with sharp/violent corrections to the up side

I think someone found the holy grail

Then doing Martingale shenanigans it produces stable and nice return curve. Doubling the bet size of each losing trade. Works until it doesn't, lol.

    Anyone do Momentum Weekly Options?

    Anyone do Momentum Weekly Options?

directional momentum? it's hairy dealing with the short term time decay and gamma. Sure it may work, it's just another vehicle among others right. My thinking is futures is generally more efficient for these kind of strategies. My bread and butter is trading the SPX weeklies, mostly because I...

    depression

If one feels down or depressed, a change of environment is good. Went on a trip to south America alone for two weeks during fall of 2021. Loved every minute of it. Traveling, exploring the world and see new places make me feel good, upbeat and happy mood.

Here in the Nordic countries one may borrow zero collateral unsecured personal loan of up $53,000 on a 10-12 years duration for ~4.5% annual interest rate. One may pay back the loan in advance without any penalty fees. If your salary allows it one may get multiple loans.

    People are negative about trading

Need input on max position size

Decide on doing an little experiment for the fun of it. Did setup a small "slush pool" of $12k using some previous winnings. I'll let the trading model be in full charge of managing this pool of cash using full Kelly position sizing to see how it goes with the two possible outcomes of either...

NFTs as a technology/concept has some legit use cases. Like personal event tickets, concert tickets, etc. To be more easily sold or gifted between companies or people. Unique in-game items in computer/console games could be more efficiently traded between players using NFTs instead of trading...

    Raise capital for algorithmic trading?

Forget it, people are very distrusting and skeptical. You wont even get $100. People rather trade themself and lose everything than let someone else manage their money. Trade yourself and grow organically. You can get additional capital from banks and lenders if you need.

    Define “Edge”

Edge is what generates Alpha. It's your advantage you got in the market. It also applies to business and entrepreneurship. An business may have one or more advantages (logistics, production, sales, marketing, whatever) over other competing business in the same product/market.

    Options Trading on DeFi

Trading crypto instruments is the same as trading Forex currency pairs. Not everyones cup of tea.

    Options Trading on DeFi

Sure, but they don't have S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 or Dow Jones options which is what people want. Have zero interest in trading crypto related instruments, like coins, tokens, etc.

    This forum

I shouldn't really complain, because the market makers need to eat, the HFT firms need to eat, the hedge funds need to eat, the prop shops need to eat, the professional traders need to eat and the semi-professional traders need to eat. It's actually good for everyone that volumes and activity...
