Yes, that is definitely do-able with the RUT. Especially if the VIX picks up a bit. It took me a while to get used to the RUT cuz it doesn't correlate well to the S&P (which can be a good thing). It tends to move in similiar directions to the NDQ.

I'm gonna look into it. I do credit spreads on the SPX, but would prefer to use options on the futures contract because you can go further OOM. If the tax reporting was simpler, that would clinch it for me.

True. I've looked at other indexes also. Only index I've traded with premium OOM 5%+ at 45 days is RUT, but it's Beta is much higher. SPY is not bad, but the premium doesn't go out percentage-wise as far as SPX, but the spreads are narrower. A little off topic - I understand that you can go...

Short. Sold ~ 10PM at 1.2138 and had my limit at 1.2090 which was close to the morning's low. Hit my limit somewhere after 3AM. Left ~25 pips on the table.

I caught ~45 pips last night. Set my limit too short. Oh well.

Just wait for the new rules to become implemented where the minimum payments on CC's double from 2% to 4%. It's gonna break the financial backs of alot of people who are tapped out as it is.
