These are big retirement areas. Lots of HOAs, country clubs, etc. Probably lots of investors, but not too many traders. Full disclosure ... my Dad is retired and living in Palm Desert. Anyway, try starting a golf or pickleball club :)

I would think that using no stops is more akin to gambling.

Here in NY (NJ) a landlord can't legally just throw out a tenant. There is an eviction process. Eviction easily takes months, possibly longer.

I don't think that most of us become prudent until we've been greedy and lost. And that is what I worry about. Anyway, I think the best way to "scam" the scammers is to raise public awareness. Which is what I'm trying to do.

Yea, apparently the Asian market is saturated with these scams, so there is a real awareness over there about them. And according to the youtube videos I've been watching, the UN estimates there are about 250K of these scammers in southeast asia alone (many human trafficked into it).

Anyway, I count 16 unique users replying to this thread. Three of whom (myself included) have run across a similar scam (directly or indirectly). That's about 18%. 12% if you deduct me.

Good luck with that. Anyway, yea, it seems they are good at English (somehow), and our norms, etc. "Daisy" would text me about going to the gym, meetings with clients, etc. And always a good morning text. I felt really comfortable in the "relationship" until the crypto investment suggestion...

Her voice just wraps around you, like loving arms. It's really interesting that so many folks are just discovering her/them in the last couple of years (myself included) as evidenced by you tube reactions.

I agree, but most new traders don't expect to lose it. For them, the sky is the limit (we've all been there). Risk? What's that? It's only when you've lost it, that you understand.

I forgot to mention GNOM, which is a big loser also :(

I like GlobalX ETFs. I'm in a couple that are doing fairly well now (BOTZ and AIQ), and in one that is not (POTX).
