I missed 2020 ibgs ibv which killed the lateral (piercing it) and signalled change to short imo. It's been covered so long ago that i managed to forget it. Damn.

15:32 est - LOL, so much for the p2 to p3 lateral. Frankly i don't know ho to handle this lateral shit - sometimes they are, sometimes they are not. Seems like a very good way to explain away at the debrief why one lost money, but not necessarily explain how to avoid this. Damn.

IMO change is the next bar ( lack of continuation). I have observed (don't know if it can be generalized universally) that the usual framework of dom/non-dom bars doesn't seem to apply to the PA sequences. I see spikes and pen/lat BO's completing it on a regular basis. 1/27 12:45 EST close of...

Makes no difference IMO what 1805 bar is in terms of volume. Previous bar created VE and is also PA. WMCN is retrace and another go of the incr red to finish building accel traverse. Good eye re: lateral at 1800. Stupid me, missed it and went long on 1840 bar. Looked like a tape was...

Mistake # 1. Mistook PA for PV. Still perfectly washable situation if didn't hesitate and waited too long to enter and exit. Mistake # 2. Missing trendline on YM : p1 1052, p3 1204 (again:D ) led to mistaken conclusion that 1258 IBV was dom (when in fact it was RTL BO).

    Iterative Refinement

That's usually the plan. I like to avoid those for now. Those usually work fine unless there's no p3, in which case they don't. YM 1434 ibv followed by dbv on 1436 prior to breaking one of the RTL's. Have not been able to define this concept rigorously, so it doesn't hold much meaning to me...

Weirdening ways of YM exhasberate an occasional lack of "knowing that you know" resulting in inability to hold.:D

Today was fun. Disregard an unauthorized lateral (@1250) :D

You may have misunderstood - I agree with your assessment. Only your orange pt3 down in the snip doesn't feel right to me, but it's hardly relevant.

    Iterative Refinement

That's a good one. Ym was on it's way to p2. 1030 looks like p1 down and doesn't fit the p3 down - the gaussians said b\/b at 1020 and r\/b at 1028 - don't think these types of seq can be found in p2 to p3 movements.:)

IMO, both bars are Ve's. We still need the price to fail to reach the trendline to have an FTT, and since Ve cannot be an FTT by definition, i think one needs to watch the next bar and since it made another VE in both cases... Of course I could be wrong because I went ahead and started from the...

Well, I dunno, it cycles 2.5 times faster, so a tape on ES is a traverse on YM and faster ff traverse on ES is a traverse on YM which has everything that 5 min ES level traverse would have. Besides, before making a turn, YM should complete some set of sequences, shouldn't it?

    Iterative Refinement

1422 on YM ( drv followed by ve and irv on the next bar) stopped me from doing anything about 1425 ES bar. IMO these type of volume situations presents themselves when price is moving p1 to p2. Didn't feel right because of anticipation of another p3 down on ym.

Seems like both 1230 and 1425 couldn't be the end of r2r because of how those laterals were broken, and if 1520 was the end of r2r then 1550 should have been a change but it wasn't. Feels like trying to count the chicken in the barn that are running all over the place.:D

    Iterative Refinement

1425 felt like it should have been change due to sequence completion. Obviously it wasn't. Any ideas as to why?

    Iterative Refinement

Appreciate you sharing those. I don't think, however, those will help me, because, if one is on the right side - there doesn't seem to be any need to wait for tape break. Three types of signals exist: Just before the turn, Just at the turn and just after the turn. On the other hand, if one is...
