try amibroker plus dtn or qp2. amibroker is outstanding charting app. best in class. qp2 realtime is only 40 bucks. or dtn is 55 bucks.

i would suggest that u look at the quality of ur trades and reduce the frequency of bad trades. squeezing ur broker will not help in ur case. if u pay 75% of ur profilts as commission, u need to do better quality trades.

get a tool like amibroker and connect to dtniq for tick data

its 4 full pips for usd cad. drives me nuts

I am looking at a bid ask spread of 4 pips on usdcad these days. I am seeing it this worse in the last few weeks. whats going on suddenly that the spread is so POOR.

my opinion is that you can use the money to trade and learn. anybody can tell you how to swim, but till you get into the water, you can never learn. so save ur money and start trading. learn to trade the market with small capital.

9 pm est is probably the weakest time in the market. only the audusd is active at that time. try at 2-7 am est. the bid/ask range is tightest during the active sessions only.
