Trump Cutting Taxes For Stock Traders?

When Trump speaks, you can actually back on the number of lies he tells. What's fake or real??

Playing the after hours market with expiring options

I think what what FSU is doing, is buying the option, and then when the stock trades up high enough, selling the stock. If the stock stays above the strike price he will exercise the option to bring his position back the neutral. However, if the stock falls below the strike price, he will just...

What are some Basic Strategies that have Worked for You?

Selling premium in the options market and then letting time decay the options away. After about a 50% gain and usually buy them back depending on how far the options and the money.

Playing the after hours market with expiring options

You do this with 10 contracts? You made $850 in the stock trade, lost $150 on the options, you had a total profit of $600?

Trump Cutting Taxes For Stock Traders?

I would agree that it is nonsense. Trump wants to do anything he can do push the market forward no matter what the cost, even if it’s a mathematical certainty that it will collapse on the next president watch. Course he would then just say the next president sucks and he was great even though he...

    Why do traders fail?

There is an unlimited number of reasons why traders fail. In many cases because they jump in the something before they have all the facts, or just don't feel like doing the research. Other times it could be the market turns around for no reason. Then there's news it comes out that no one can...

    TSLA option writers

I bought puts expiring the end of the day today hoping Tesla smashed. It traded down a few dollars and got out the tiny profit. I'll take another shot at it next week.

    $WORK

I’m a buyer of WORK, as a long-term holder. Reason being, as I’ve said earlier in this thread, buying Slack today reminds me of buying Salesforce a decade ago. Their a company that makes communication and getting things done efficiently much easier. What they do is eliminate the need for email...

    $WORK

I'd go a couple months to April. If the stock is trading about $25, the April 22.5 puts will probably be worth around $1.35. I'd be comfortable selling maybe 8 contracts. I can then either pocket a little over $1000 or get more stock at just over $21, either way it's a win!

    $WORK

I already own a good amount of WORK, but if it drops below 25 again will likely sell 23 strike price puts. This way it will either be income or let me buy more at a great price!

I'm a long-term bull on Slack, buying slack today would be like buying Salesforce 10 years ago.

I wouldn't be selling any options the Tesla unless I had it back by stock.

Why The **** Didn't You Buy TSLA Puts?

I'm too scared to get in the Tesla now, volatility is just too high. The penalty for being wrong is is too great.

    Tesla 2020

What? I'm saying Tesla is the leader in making efficient batteries. Unlike BMW, Porsche or any of the other electric vehicle manufacturers. I'm not sure what your comment means.

    Tesla 2020

Tesla is way overvalued, but does that even matter? They are clearly the leader in the electric vehicle space based on their battery technology. Would you want to buy a car from a different manufacturer, even in nicer manufacturer, if the battery lasted 30% less? Everyone else is playing...
