Larry Connors' Cumulative RSI: 26% annual return (now with sensitivity analysis)

if it's no longer contemporary or updated how could it not be. Is yesterday's newspaper useful for today? It's last week stock summary useful for today? Most printed information degrades almost immediately. And do be adroit enough to recognize that absolute knowledge or data, like the atomic...

Larry Connors' Cumulative RSI: 26% annual return (now with sensitivity analysis)

Not to be overly critical but back testing is generally worthless and Larry Connors does not trade Larry Connors, his website doesn't have a particle performance or trade data - it's basically a book sales room. As we all know books are obsolete as soon as the ink dries.

Larry Connors' 2-day RSI Holy Grail: adapting a strategy to deliver 30% annual return since 1999

I have the usual complaints for one back testing is worthless and useless, two a 35% maximal drawdown on $100,000 account is a lot of drawdown and a maximal drawdown period of 486 days is near eternity. Where is the profit loss per trade or should I go with 30,963?

    Trading Breeds Assholes

Try this: what do you call a dance studio where you don't dance? What you call bowling alley where you don't bowl? What do you call a trade room where you don't trade? A sales room. Pat Mitchell and "Trick Trades"

as far as I can tell pat Mitchell has no trade room, does not execute trades in real time, has no performance data, no track record and no evidence of having achieved anything except convincing weak willed people that he is somehow special. In my book it's just another salesman-all vendor no trader.

Netpicks. The good the bad and everything in between.

i think there's worse things a newbie trader could do than signup with netpicks: you don't know that even if it costed them $1500. that's probably money they would end up losing to the market otherwise. you don't know that at least with netpicks system they might last longer in the market with...
