    Iterative Refinement

At what time did you know that the market has yet to complete its sequences? (Using 5min ES only)

If it is 11:55 on the 19th, price goes higher...............

Without knowing what price actually looks like, we could just as easily have the attached gaussians.

    Iterative Refinement

Why does it have to be a retrace? We can just as easily have a bar that goes higher and closes higher, but with decreased volatility.

Why is the next to last black bar non dominant?

The dom direction at 11:10 was UP, followed by non dom red, followed by dom black from 11:45. Unless I am mistaken (which is quite possible), the fact that the black gauss peak is lower at the 11:50 bar reinforces the argument that 11:55 is signal for change.

Down until 11:45, at which point we see black increase, and 11:50 black increase.

Bar 11:50 confirmed DOM up with more ibv after the fbp bo with ibv. At 11:50 we have price up, volume up = DOM up.

Excuse me but I thought I had spelled out clearly and concisely WHY 11:55 appeared to be traverse level change. We have seen traverse level pts 1, 2 and 3. By the time we get to 11:55 we have seen sequence completion witha jokari window signal for change following a confirmed point 3. So, IF we...

    Iterative Refinement

At 10:55 we have pt1. At 11:15 we have pt2. At 11:40 we have pt3, and an fbp. 11:45 bo's the fbp on increasing black volume. 11:50 provides more increasing black volume, confirming the pt3 and confirming the 1,2,3 traverse sequence (green). The higher close with decreasing black volume on the...

Firstly, this conclusion was only reached with hindsight. Secondly, after further consideration, I think it is wrong. :) The difference between 11:55 and 12:35 is that 11:55 is before a pt2 and 12:35 is after a pt3. This requires us to restart the 1,2,3 sequence at or after the arrival of the...

11:35 jw sig for change but holding long. Looking for a pt 3. 11:40 fbp 11:45 fbp bo + ibv We now have pt3, but it is also a pt 1 as we are following a trav level sfc 11:50 ibv confirms dom long with more ibv *11:55 jw but we are on the way to a pt2 so invalid sfc 12:00 cont higher with...

    Iterative Refinement

I saw the first traverse as 10:05 to 11:20, where I saw peaking volume. At this point I was looking for a non dom traverse or a lat traverse to give a channel pt3. Price forms a lat from 11:20 to 11:50 and a bo with irv at 11:25 so I was anticipating using this bar as my pt1 for the next dom...

I am not sure why spyder did not annotate a lateral from 14:35. The following 6 bars all appeared to close within the 14:35 bar but it is quite possible that I have this annotated incorrectly.

On my chart 15:00 is the p3 so we wouldn't be looking for a signal for change there. We are already long and holding p2 to p3. The 15:05 bar gives us lat fbo with ibv - a trav level sfc. On the 15:10 bar we see price move higher with dbv so I saw that as sfc also (jokari window). If either of...

Not at the traverse level. If you can see a signal for change that I have missed I would be grateful for your input.

    Iterative Refinement

I notice that fewer and fewer people are posting charts and I think this is a real shame. I can only presume that those who have reached a point of consistent profitably are not prepared to help others. There are still many here who are struggling to identify signals for change (sfc) at the...
