Most of the time I'm in and out in less then a minute, then look for the counter move If a major release is way out of line I'll hold longer. Sometimes, maybe 1 out of 5 I'll get whip sawed, but that goes along with the territory.

They read it off the terminal, and in that second it takes them to read it clearly and slowly markets have already reacted. Trust me this is a game I play. I would never try to trade a release if I didn't have a Bloomberg Terminal.

the only way you can actually trade an eco. release is if you have a bloomberg terminal or reuters. All other news outlets are late.

I try to answer all my emails as soon as I can. I get a ton of emails everyday and unfortunately I do accidentally miss a few. Also, sometimes I'm out of the office for a few days. If anyone ever has a question and emails or PM's and does not receive response from me the same day, please...

CQG is best. If you want a program that is very, very reliable, and easy to use this is it. However, it's one the more expensive platforms. Depending on what exchanges and add on services you get it starts around $500 and goes t0 $1000+. I have found nothing better and would highly recommend...

Thats what I do. I only look at my P/L after I'm done trading. It takes alot of the emotions out of the game for me. You know if you are trading well or poor, you have to have the discipline to stop when you ar trading poorly based on how you feel you are trading not what your P/L says.
