Oso, are we making a bull flag?

Hoping you wouldn't ask that, Oso! :) Actually, I simply made a mistake placing my exit order, and by the time I realized it I was out of the trade. The original PT was actually what I intended. Embarassing.

I did, and rode it up for about 4 points, exiting about 3 minutes before close of RTH. That's the good news. The bad news is that I'd previous had three consecutive prior trades stop out (tricky bastards!), so I was 6 points in the hole by the time I took the long trade, and ended the day down...

I agree not very bearish, but doesn't loke very bullish either. NYSE Advance/Decline has been headed down all day, and is just shy of neutral. We haven't had ES volume >5000 contracts/minute in almost an hour. Looks more sideways to me than anything else. Scalping into the close (or sitting...

Osorico, could the last hour's trading in the ES not be interpreted as a downside breakout from a bear flag (your favorite chart pattern)? If not, why not?

Steve, I think what B1S2 meant was that you should cease your public feud with JJ. Your posts today (since your last nastygram to JJ) have been quite interesting, and I'd encourage you to continue your participation here on that basis. I do agree with B1S2 that your exchanges with JJ over the...

Not sure the reason, but it's quite common to see that at the LOD or HOD.

If it goes below 1514.75, next support levels seem to be 1511, 1507-8, 1501-3.

Rule of 10 has now been satisfied, precisely at the support level of 1514.75. Up from here???

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

I show rule of 10 would put us at 1514.25. Looking to re-enter long at 1516.50 or 1514.75 support levels if we get there.

1521.50 ... a price so nice they've tested it twice. EDIT: Stopped out for a 1.25 point loss. :(

Seems like I might have been a little early with this entry.:) It has taken an hour to gain 2 points... 15m and 60m charts are now showing a decent-looking bullish continuation wedge. If and when 1525.50 prints, I will raise my stop to break-even and be looking for higher.
